Delicata squash and carrot soup with chicken. The squash, carrots, onions and garlic were from my garden. It was flavored with ginger and turmeric. I'm practicing for fall soup season!

Another garden meal - slow roasted grape tomatoes with grilled chicken slices and fresh mozzarella cheese on toasted sourdough bread. The aroma of those tomatoes in olive oil, garlic and fresh thyme and oregano was wonderful during the 3+ hours it took to roast them. Almost as good as eating the meal!

(even though I no longer eat anything that contains gluten)! This would have been good without the bread - on some kind of GF cracker. I haven't eaten wheat for about 5 years but just recently "cheated" for a few selective meals per month. It's been working okay for me. I am not celiac so am fortunate. I try to keep my blood sugar from spiking and avoiding wheat has helped me keep lots of unhealthy foods out of my diet.

My coworker brought me a loaf of homemade roasted garlic and rosemary bread that I ate with the Minestrone I had brought in for dinner. I plan on enjoying this bread all week. 🍞 😋

How do you make the sweetened sauerkraut, @angelic_one2002?
Deconstructed stuffed peppers with ground turkey over rice. I find by slicing the peppers and cooking a bit in the microwave first, it cooks a lot faster than the whole stuffed pepper.
