I must now know my supermodels because I have never heard of that supermodel judge.

I'm so glad they sent Seth Aaron home. I was afraid they would keep him since he was a legend. His fellow designer was right, though. SA did nothing but string some seat belts over some fabric. How is that using the materials? He didn't transform them in any way. I was so disappointed. I wonder if decided he just didn't want to be here?
Same goes with that dress with the sunglasses. I don't know why the judges raved about it. I loved it when that one designer said it reminded him of a store that sells sunglasses. That's what I thought! It looked like one of those kiosks in a drugstore where you buy them.

I thought Sean's sunglasses dress looked a lot better on the runway in the lights, and that probably saved him. I was disappointed with Seth Aaron's dress too and I will miss his genius.

I too was disappointed with Seth Aaron. Unlike Korto from Season 5 who took seatbelts and turned them into a chic, beautiful dress there was no transformation; it looked like seatbelts dangling from some fabric. Where was the innovation there? His sketch looked a lot better than the finished product, so I guess it was a case of not being able to produce irl the vision you have in your head.
Django's dress was glorious. Michelle's silhouette was basic but her model looked like a million bucks walking down the runway. Even Anya produced something cute (and not one of the 3 patterns she uses) in a very nice print. Everyone basically did a really good job (which made SA's dress look a lot worse) but all of these people were Project Runway winners for a reason. Overall, it was a great show.

I've always been a fan of Seth Aaron, but that dress was bad and he deserved to go home. I also thought Sean's dress looked like a sunglass round kiosk, and I wouldn't have minded if he went home for it.
The challenge was a little weird because they were supposed to use unconventional materials, but also include an accessory, and make it a travel outfit. I don't think anyone got the travel part of that memo. They even talked about the winning look as being worn at an event, which I didn't think fit with travel at all. I think she won because they loved her accessory and thought she would make something great for the charity.

I wish they had showed the accessories by themselves as some were quite attractive but got lost with the outfit.

I thought exactly the same thing! I have flown numerous times in my life, and I wouldn't wear any of those outfits for traveling.

I thought Seth Aaron's was better than Sean's - actually. Some really great designs this week! And yes, many of the designs weren't appropriate travel outfits - unless of course - you like being uncomfortable.
