Day 10
Events likely to happen today:
- nominations
- possibly the veto competition
Significant things that happened yesterday:
- Tom made a few more attempts to try to flip the vote and keep Jonathan safe, but Kato kept assuring him that they could trust Ricky. Shrug.
- Jonathan was evicted, with Dina being the only vote against Kandi
- Endurance competition, won by 59 year old Kato (apparently the 2nd oldest person to ever play Big Brother) who hung on for an hour and a half. 56 year old Dina also did very well.
- When the comp was down to Kato, Natalie, and Joey, Kato offered a deal to keep them safe if they dropped. They finally did, leaving it to Kato to win
- Joey griped throughout the whole thing that production needed to speed it up because it was too cold, I guess misunderstanding the fact that in an endurance competition, it only speeds up once the players fall off. (technically I suppose he was wanting them to make the wall move forward more frequently but whatever.)
- Tamar had a meltdown once she was ready to drop, because she's afraid of heights and was scared to jump.
- Once the comp was over, Tamar told Natalie she thought she was going to be nominated. Natalie said she would make sure she wasn't, that she wants Kato to put up Dina and Joey or Ryan. Tamar pointed out that Kato said he'd keep Joey safe, but Natalie said that was only if Joey had dropped immediately, which he didn't.
- Ryan quickly approached Kato, telling him about the early and ill-fated alliance he and Jonathan had with the women. He offered to work with Kato, saying he'd be a good ally because he would play hard to win every competition.
- Lolo had a meltdown because the comp turned her hair green
- During the comp, when Kato was offering Joey the deal if he dropped, Dina kept telling Joey not to drop. Kato interpreted this to mean Dina is targeting him and he was not pleased.
- Early indications are that Kato plans to nominate Dina and Tamar
- In non-game news, Natalie and Ryan had a nice chat about addiction and their experiences with AA.
Upcoming Schedule:
- Now that we've had the first eviction, the game schedule is going to speed up, but we don't know the exact schedule.
- The next live eviction is on Monday's episode, so the nominations, veto competition, and veto ceremony will all happen today/tomorrow
