Day 15
Events likely to happen today:
- Veto competition
Significant things that happened yesterday:
- The day started off fairly calm. Tom planned to have one-on-one coffee chats with everyone to gather information. That never happened.
- Tom spent most of the morning holed up in a room with Kato off and on, going around in circles about who to put up. They were joined at different times by Ricky and Lolo. The consensus was that since it was Tom's HOH it was ultimately up to him, but they all agreed on some combination of Kandi / Joey / Tamar.
- "Celebrity Breaking News" happened and they were told someone was getting a power that would help to "get them out of a sticky situation." They were then called into the DR one by one.
- Tom and Kato have yet another of their headache-inducing discussions. This time, Tom convinces Kato that they need to backdoor Ricky this week. For now.
- Tom nominates Kandi and Joey, as they are the two that are under the highest suspicion of having the power. Tom alluded to this in his nomination speech, which didn't set well with several of the houseguests, including Tamar. She felt that Tom was "bullying" people by basically saying, if you have the power, you better tell me.
- As the evening wore on, Tom and Kato overanalyzed and overthought everything about this power. Kato kept using the expression "sticky situation" - taking it literally since that's what the announcement said.
- Suspicion around the house of who has the power went around in circles, mostly centered around Joey, Kandi, Ricky, and eventually Tamar. (note - although we have not heard for sure, since this vote was done via Twitter and that's publicly visible, we "know" that Tamar won it)
- By the end of the night, Tom and Kato had jumped away from the backdoor Ricky plan, and back to it, several times.
- Many of the houseguests got annoyed with Tom and his intense focus on questioning everyone about the power. Lolo told Kato he should warn Tom because the house is turning against him. Lolo even told Tom that he overthought things to the point of paranoia and that was difficult to work with
- In a chat with Lolo and Natalie, Ricky said that he'd be willing to put Tom up if it got to that, although it would still be a group decision. Lolo and Natalie told Ricky that Tom is still suspicious of him.
