Here's a really good side-by-side comparison between the movie version of Queen at Live Aid and the actual concert:

Wow! That's quite a video. I'm not one to sit through a 18 minute link, but this one had me. Every second of it.

Absolutely loved Freddy Mercury and Queen way back in the day. My roommate and bff still to this day, Marli, and I would trade off buying every other album due to lack of funds. Er, uh, I’m only 32 so my math must be waaay off. Anyway, not only were they unique, fabulous and ultra creative, the fact that some of their album names were an homage to Marx brothers movies was the icing on the cake for me. I couldn’t wait to see BR the minute it premiered, and my husband, friends and I loved every single minute of it! I had a difficult time not belting out every word of every lyric of every song. I was pulling for Rami to win the Oscar and am thrilled he was rewarded with the gold. A man with this much talent has only just begun!

I enjoyed the movie and really enjoyed the performance put forth by Rami. He really deserved the Oscar.
