Katie's eyes are so pretty! If I'd been Demi, I would have been distracted just looking at them. But Demi's storyline is coming across so fabricated, they knew she was going to bring this up, and I just wonder if Derek was in on it too (but has to act like he wasn't)?
Tayshia's being dramatic, but Hannah is acting spoiled. She is used to getting lots of attention all the time, obviously, so she doesn't see how what she's doing could affect other people. Keeping the information that Blake came down to Birmingham, from all the others, wasn't right. Knowing there were so many plans/deals/arrangements or whatever before the show is kind of smarmy to me. Hannah getting defensive to Tayshia right away, mad instead of trying to understand her friend, shows me she has some guilt about it. And I like Dylan, but if I were him I wouldn't give Hannah any more of my time. Unfortunately, down there with nothing else to do but hang out together, he's not going to be able to help it. And last night on Twitter he said something about knowing what he signed up for, to give her a break.
Dean and his mustache! ha! Living in a van and traveling the country, huh. He's definitely a charmer, and even with his showered/not showered look (says Tayshia), I guess I can see the appeal. He just needs to shave! And maybe wash his hair.....

I really don't think he was in on it. They would want him to be surprised so they could get that reaction shot. I agree the Demi storyline is coming across as fabricated, but then I have always thought her whole stint on this series has been fake. Just not buying her schtick.

I think Dylan should run the other way when it comes to Hannah. She doesn't come out and lie, but she know exactly what she's doing and is getting away with a lot using her passive, "I'm an innocent giggly girl who can't make decisions" approach. And if she doesn't know she's doing it, that should be a red flag, too. I don't have an issue with her wanting to explore two relationships. That's part of the show, but have a spine and communicate about it so that Dylan knows what's up.

Christian is seriously an a**. I don't like this macho man schtick.
I don't know why Clay is wanting a woman who is looking for this drama. Run, Clay, run.

Chris and Katie are one of the strongest couples???
I missed part of the show tonight since I am at work and someone was having an incident, but did they show something I missed?

They must not be exciting enough to show us their "connection." Instead, we need to hear more from Demi! ETA: and now they showed us a scene of them together, and of Chris talking about getting her rose tonight. He's not interested in anyone else there, wants her rose, something about being on the same page, but never really gushed about her to the camera. Makes me wonder if he's really interested in her, or just wants to stick around. Maybe he's just being cautious.

Nicole is bugging me. The stupid giggling is annoying. And what is with these women just sitting there stupidly in silence as two guys are arguing about them as if they are not even there? I would be pi**ed at both!

Watching this program makes you realize how little we get to know them when they're on the Bachelor or Bachelorette. I wouldn't have guessed in a million years that Nicole would go for a guy like Christian.

I only caught the last 15 minutes of Tuesday's show, but took an immediate disliking to the smug Christian. Good for Jordan charging into the date and causing a big fuss, lol.

I watched a few minutes where the dude was reciting something to Tayshia I think and immediately flipped the channel.

I watched a few minutes where the dude was reciting something to Tayshia I think and immediately flipped the channel. I thought that part was funny, especially when a) he forgot the lines and b) he was honest enough to say, that cameraman is right on me.. I like him I don't know why Dean is living in a van, or why Jordan needed to start a fight, when Clay clearly said don't go over there. I FF most of it I'm betting more than half of these people knew or dated before the show, not just Hannah and Blake and his harem..lol Production sure plays a huge role in this show. I loved Wells at the end.

I guess I'm in the minority because I'd watch a whole hour of Demi and Jordan commentating on the other people on the show. "Who's getting a rose tonight?" "ABC. Anybody BUT Cam!" Poor Cam (only I really don't feel sorry for him) hasn't gotten the memo that desperation and moping isn't a turn on for anyone. He had no business being on any show in this franchise.

I loved Wells at the end. I enjoyed John Paul Jones and his attempt to woo Tayshia with Shakespeare. How he practiced and then when it came time he did pretty well but spaced out due to the pressure. But he got going again and Tayshia said she was endeared by his effort. He took a risk and so far it seems to have paid off.
Dean in a van? Somehow it doesn't surprise me at all. He mentioned that he wanted to go to a number of National Parks which would be an interesting experience. His hair was so voluminous that it had a cartoonish look to it. And that mustache! So far his behavior seems better than in the past.
Jordan? That fight was ridiculous but reminded me of when he pitched a fit and threw that giant stuffed animal in the ocean in a previous BIP. The difference this time is that it wasn't his fight to be in so he should've stayed out of it. Poor Clay, he was trying to be cool.

I'm not a big fan of Christian, but I thought it was really obnoxious of Clay to interrupt so soon after they sat down to talk. Not cool, and he knew it. He shouldn't have let the others talk him into it. And Jordan should have just minded his own business. Clearly, he was just doing it to get screen time. Clay may luck out, though, if they get sent home due to the fight, because I think Nicole was leaning toward giving Christian her rose. She was digging the passion, even if she knows in her heart that he's a bad boy. As for Dean living in a van, from what he was telling Caelyn, it's clearly a converted van that's set up with a sink and probably a cook top. There's actually a whole movement out there of people who are choosing to live in converted vans or campers/trailer or RVs in order to save money and/or see the world. I think it's cool that he's doing it (though he may want to invest in one of those portable sun-heated shower bag contraptions in case he doesn't have a friend/gym/truck stop close by and needs to shower). I've actually been watching a lot of the videos of people who are doing that kind of life and dreaming of taking a year off and living the mobile life. One of my former coworkers has been doing it for about 10 years now, and as far as I know she loves it. But I think she has a big fancy RV. The guy who won the final challenge on American Ninja warrior in Baltimore this week had a segment about how he and his wife are living in a converted van to save money and be able to travel for the show. Their van looked pretty nice. I'm guessing Dean's isn't quite so fancy, but it's not just a regular van where he's rolling out a sleeping bag on the back seat. LOL

For any who are curious about what a van like Dean's might be like, here are some screencaps I made of the van Dave Cavanaugh from American Ninja Warrior lives in with his wife. The van itself is very nice (expensive). It has a high-top for good head space and solar panels on the top so that they have plenty of electricity inside. It has a bed and a kitchen area with a cooktop, sink, and running water. I'm guessing that there's a fridge and storage across from the sink on the other side of the van. The bed converts into a sitting area with a table. All the basics for living fairly comfortably in an admittedly small space. (They do have a shower set-up, but they have to take part of the kitchen apart to use it, so it's not particularly convenient.)

Everything but a shower, it sounded like, so maybe it's similar to that Dave guy's van. Similar to a camper, but not a camper! Caelynn's face after asking him where he showered was so funny, he even retweeted a picture of it! haha

So, he's chilling in his van, looking like a porn star with that moustache..travelling around, but as soon as BIP calls, he's right there, hooking up with the most unstable girl on that show...hmm, okay then.

Gotta pay for his propane somehow. LOL I heard that on Ashley and Ben's podcast last week he came right out and said he had only done it for the money.(They make between $7,000 - $15,000 for three weeks' work. Not a bad gig!) Why he thinks it's a good idea to hook up with Caelyn, I don't know. I doubt it will end well for either of them.

I don't expect much from the Bachelor franchise but they need to stop bringing back "fan favorites" who seem to only be there for a paycheck and Instagram followers this season. Well at least more than past.. It's annoying that all these people already come in with past relationships. It's obiously what the producers want but I want more fresh meat. I don't even mind if they got kicked off episode 1 or 3 and I don't remember them. Reality Steve said months ago Demi's story was fabricated for the cameras. They completely glossed over Jordan getting engaged to Jenna last season and the cheating scandal. So obviously they brought him back for comic relief which at this point I am thankful for. Cam is the kind of genuine nut I miss. I need more types like Ashley I crying, Bad Chad, Kelsey and Clare talking to live animals. True relationships like Jade/Tanner and Raven/Adam. The best part for me was Jordan and Demi making jokes and the girls laughing about Blake. And even though Christian was a douche, he finally made things interesting. Nicole's head might explode if she gets asked on a fourth date. Saying all this, I'll be there for 4 more hours next week.

Do you think, maybe they aren't getting the responses to be on this show, they are reaching quite far back, well, far back to me.. Chad, no I don't miss him, he was an out of control drunk, and I think he would have really hurt someone.. Ashley I. I often muted, the non stop crying drove me to drink..and to throw things at the TV. THis, so much this. It's so boring. The bolded is very sad..very.
