I read that Nicole had a late night talk with the cameras. She feels like Holly and Jackson want a deal with them but also have a deal with Tommy and Christie too and she can't believe that Cliff doesn't see that. That he's too trusting. She says people think that she just follows but so far she's made decisions that she's had to make. She said she will vote out Nick this week if the votes go that way (ahem...following..) but that she's hoping he can turn them around. She did say that she would like to throw Nick a sympathy vote but doesn't know how that would look. She wants to talk to Cliff today about everything.

Nick tried one last time to see if Jackson would use the veto. Denied.

They will evict Christie this time, won't they?

Last I knew they wanted Christie up as the pawn, and send Nick home.

They will evict Christie this time, won't they? Nick will have to cook up something amazing. Right now it's a solid 4 to evict Nick. (Jackson, Jess, Cliff and Tommy) Nicole seems to be the only person wanting to keep him.

Won't it be great if the DR reminds him that Christie lives three exits from Tommy? Nick can use that to convince them that Christie and Tommy do know each other and probably have a Final 2.

Nick is toast! Either Christie or Jess will be gone next week followed by the other. Then Tommy, then Cliff, then Nicole. Guess who that leaves? And these idiots can’t and won’t do a damn thing to stop it! What a forgettable, waste of a season! They created the pie throwing as a diversion to try to cheer up an otherwise morbid disastrous season.

The only thing I can think that Nick can do to stay this week is to throw Tommy under the bus and make Holly & Jackson and in turn Cliff see that Tommy & Christie are a solid pair who are coming after Holly & Jackson. Especially if Cliff heard the message last week from outside the house about them being a pair it might work. But I don't think that Nick would throw Tommy under the bus.

This season is far from over and there are more bumps and turns ahead. There is no way to pick a clear winner right now. Jackson is a target. Holly is a target. And they are going to become the main one VERY soon.

From elsewhere : Tommy reveals that the 3rd, 4th and 5th place finishers receive an extra 10k, 7.5k and 5k, respectively, on top of their stipends.
Is this new ? Has it always been like that ?

If years ago Kayser set the gold standard for this game treating it as a game of chess always being six steps ahead, this cast has shown what it's like if you treat it like a game of whack-o-mole, only reacting to the moment that pops up directly in front of you. None of them seem to have any broad vision of what will happen a few steps later in the game. They will be absolutely certain in something for days, and then the second a shiny object comes along they will all turn on a dime. Boring ... but it does make Thursday shows a little more interesting than they've been n the past.

It's been that way for maybe one or two seasons now I think. The idea (from what I understand) was to discourage the "just want to make it to jury" factor by giving at least some incentive to make it closer to the end. At least that's what I heard.

I think the only way Jackson and Holly stay off the block next week is if Jackson wins HOH
OR
The HOH puts Holly and someone else up as a pawn to try and blindside Jackson and he wins VETO.
If Nicole could somehow win HOH, she would be smart to put up Tommy/Christy or Jackson/Holly and break up the duos.

If Christie is not evicted, that definitely means that Jackson, Holly, and Christie are Final 3. Why else would Jackson not evict Christie twice in a row (even though it's Holly's HOH it is his HOH unfortunately). Please let Cliff see this and vote Nick to stay. I want Christie out then Nick and then Tommy. When is double eviction??

Nicole is trying to get Holly & Jackson to think about keeping Nick. Jackson thinks that Christie will throw the next HOH so he wants to keep her. If Nick stays Jackson says if he wins HOH he will go after Holly & Cliff.
I just don't get their reasoning. It is getting down to the end game now and they think Christie is going to throw HOH.

Nicole knows that if Christie stays after being on the block 3 weeks in a row that she is building a really good case to win this game if she makes it to the end.

Jackson and Holly are so sure that they know exactly who everyone would put up on the block if they win HOH.
But I just don't follow their logic.

Well it is Christie we’re talking about, so it is possible! On the flip side, it’s Jackson concocting the scenario and I can’t think of a thing he’s been right about in his predictions.

Jackson says he is going to throw the next HOH. He is just trying to cover his bases when he loses the next HoH. He wants Holly to "think" he is going to throw it, but I think he will do his best to win it. I hope Jess, Cliff or Nicole win it. I hope Christie goes up on the block "again", maybe she will accept defeat finally. What does it say that my vote for America 's Favorite Player will be David or Ovi?
