Jackson “apologizing” to Cliffs family almost made me hurl. I didn’t buy all his emotions, I think it was an act. My saving grace hope is that he’s declared victory already. Ever since the blowup of the big alliance, power has shifted every time a group feels too confident. When Jackson and Holly knew they were on the way out they kept winning. They started to believe that would continue and suddenly they were out. Nicole started winning and she and cliff took for granted that her winning would continue. Championships are won in sports my managing momentum for the right time. Maybe just maybe Nicole will have the momentum, aided by Jackson being over confident and Holly being ... Holly.

I can't really watch the highlight shows anymore, because I find I get noticeably angry if Jackson is on screen talking for more than a few seconds. The stress of winning that veto was an emotional release for Jackson. He broke down with tears of relief. He almost looked human. Yeah, but he recreated those reactions in the DR, which had to be done after the results were announced. All that anger at himself and punching the couch and praying as if he might have lost... massive ick.

His display when they announced that he won veto in the BY seemed genuine, but he is an actor..... I still hope Nicole wins Final HoH and evicts him. But, he is a strong athlete that is lucky to win a lot of competitions. Since jury has not seen the show, if he makes F2 I’m afraid he will win it.

First, I have to say Jackson's outburst in the diary room was ridiculous. The way he was so mad at himself was such an overreaction, and kinda disturbing. Then they showed him all zen-like, talking with his super soft (creepy) voice, it makes me even more convinced he's not well.
Then, I saw this on Twitter, and have read all the responses with interest:
I don't even like Evel Dick, but he obviously wasn't the only one hearing this or thinking the fix is in. Why would they want this guy to win, is my question???!!! I don't get it.

And the Academy Award goes to: Snackson, for his teary-eyed DR apology to the Hogg family for dashing their father's dreams. OMG what a phony. I don't know what Cliff was smoking that made him think he'd be taken to final three. Exactyl! What made him feel entitled? He should have known Michie will take Holly. Not him. That's just common sense. And the way Cliff wanted Michie taking him to final two, but would only promise taking Nicole? That's hogwash.

Like Jackson was going to take Cliff, over Holly. Holly was always his F2, no matter how many times Jackson says Cliff and Nicole broke their deal.. Of the F4, no matter her edit, I don't like Holly at all. She's at the end, because she's been boinking Jackson, no other reason.

Cliff was fooled into thinking Jackson would dump Holly because when it was between Holly and Tommy, Jackson did waver a bit early on tempted by the idea of allowing Cliff and Nicole to vote out Holly. He was working out the numbers in his head and thought for a moment it would help him if Holly went - and knew someone else would have to do the dirty work to make it happen. In doing that, he planted the seed in Cliff's mind that Jackson may be more loyal to Cliff than Holly. I'm sure that Cliff is also smart enough to be confident like many viewers that Holly and Jackson won't last past the house. Take all that, couple it with the overconfidence built in Cliff for getting much further in the game than he ever expected to as the token old guy, and a healthy mix of the mind games of total isolation, and you've got Cliff believing he was safe.

Cliff just wasn't thinking anything through and it showed. I think Cliff thought he was still talking to himself. In what world would he think Jackson would take him over Holly. That would be crazy.

Exactly! We watched it here saying, what world is Cliff in to think Michie would actually take him to final 2, and that Michie would betray Holly like that?!? He wasn't using his head. And then, Cliff asks Michie to take Nicole to final two over Holly? That's hardly fair. Bottom line, Michie played the game better, and was excellent at the competitions. I don't really think Cliff would have won this game with game strategy alone, and he certainly wouldn't have won by winning competitions at the end, when it really counts.

Cliff thought it was possible because Michie told him and Nicole it was possible. Michie and Holly were fighting all week while she was on the block with Tommy, and at one point Michie thought Holly might be more of a liability than an asset to him making the finals, so he dropped a hint to Cliff and Nicole that it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if they evicted her. But of course Holly ran back to Michie, begged for forgiveness that he didn't owe her, and they and the stool were one big happy family again. I'm surprised Cliff didn't bring this up to Michie during his big campaign last night.

I don't think anyone in a Big Brother house can think clearly this late in the game. People think it's the easy game compared to Survivor or Amazing Race, because you sit in a house with food brought to you. But it's very mentally taxing to be that isolated.

Several people from the earlier seasons probably wouldn't even be cast now.

I think Michie is the ONLY one there who is thinking clearly, and he's always a few steps ahead. When he and Jack were aligned together, I didn't care for Michie. More power to him, at this point. He's played the best game (out of this lot, anyway) physically as well as mentally.

Cliff had made deals with Michie, too. They usually always make deals to get to the final 2.I feel Cliff should have known Michie by THAT late in the game, to know he wouldn't take he or Nicole to the end. They never did align with Cliff or Nicole. Cliff's gullibility was his downfall. I just can't fathom why he would trust a totally opposite alliance to take him to the end...geez, he almost alienated Nicole to believe what Michie offered! Dumb move.

Nicole never fully believed it, which is why she felt bad for Cliff when Michie won it. She knew he would take Holly over anyone and said that in DR. It was hard for her to give in and let Cliff keep Holly and evict Tommy. But, she was tired of discussing it with Cliff who was so insistent. Navybelle: rumor is that Mama Michie was upset the way her son was portrayed on feeds with his racist remarks. She supposedly went to a lawyer in an attempt to block all feeds. If you noticed after the internet started screaming about him, he has been receiving a perfect edit. They do not even show comments by other houseguests complaining about things Jackson says or does. Negative comments toward or from Jackson, are never aired on the show, and camera immediately switches the feed when they come up on live feed. It is almost as if CBS wants him to win, so that all the mama Michie stuff goes away.

^ I remember hearing about that, but weren't there doubts on whether or not it was really her/really true?
Either way, production has definitely helped him get this far. He should have had punishments from sneaking food and eating when he was a have not, for sure!
