Omg Sean is safe? I didn’t see that coming! I won't be surprised if he makes it all the way to the end. If you look on Twitter, he's got Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Donald Trump Jr, and other influential Republican figures tweeting out the voting information and asking people to vote for him. After all of the backlash over his being cast, voting for him has become a political referendum for a lot of people. I knew it was going to turn into another Palin political disaster. At least he seems to be enjoying himself and not a miserable SOB like Bristol was.

This is exactly what they were supposedly going to fix after Bobby's win last year. Their "fix" just made things worse. They should weigh the judge's score more heavily than the fan votes, but they're probably too scared they'll lose whatever money they make from voting.

I don't think he'll go to the end.Besides it's really time for Lamar to leave imho, the Kardashians and followers were/ are voting for him.. I don't know if that was a true bottom two the judges knew Ray was out. Ray's toes did look pretty bad.

This is my first episode I've seen this season. My first chance to see not only the contestants but the new and "improved" rules. I see a few things that stood out: The dances do seem to be going back to more emphasis on Ballroom moves, although not as much as originally. It's a start. I liked it when they were docked for not doing required moves for each dance. Unfortunately the Theme Nights remain. I've never liked them. I don't understand the end result scoring at all. It looks like business as usual except that the judges get to pick between the bottom 2. I guess that's to keep those the public doesn't take to, but the judges like. I don't think I'm all that crazy about that. So ultimately the viewers' votes mean nothing. The judges will end up deciding not just the winners, but how the last few place. Not right. Why waste your time voting for nothing. And, what's with the same time voting? Don't those on the West Coast get a say? This is stupid & just wrong. I hope there's a huge outcry over that.
On to my totally unprofessional critique: James VanDerBeek: He was wonderful. My favorite star dancer. Lamar: He really does seem to be trying, but the poor guy is just so darned awkward. Hannah: She danced nicely, but then she had to open her self centered delusional mouth. For cryin' out loud, quit the self pity party, Sex Girl. Oh, your life has been sooooo darned tough, but nobody else's is. It's all been of your own doing after all the opportunities you've been given. Sorry, but your sh*t DOES stink. Just shut up & dance. Sailor: Her smile showed that she sure seems to e having a great time. She did beautifully too. Sean: Another who's trying, but just not succeeding. He is having a good time though. His musicality & timing to the beat are just dreadful. I just don't know who some of the others are, so their comments will wait 'till I know who they are.
All in all I'm glad the show is back.

He's an east coast guy and the east coast is voting. He'll probably be around for awhile. But he was the last one to dance. So, I'd think that would work against him! People are asking their followers to vote for them before they've danced, and I'm guessing his did. Everybody's doing it to get around the stupid live-vote thing. I'm in the West, and I voted for the people I want to continue without even watching the show. It kind of sucks, since I'd probably give votes to some people who aren't my currently my favorites if they let me actually watch the show then vote. On a different front. It bugged me how Hannah was smiling all the way through the rumba. Ally's more serious, passionate expressions went with the dance much better.

Routine was a bit hokey, but Sean gave it is all. He was off step a few times, but Bruno was rude with that disaster comment. I guess Bruno was going for laughs, but it fell flat.I quit watching for a few seasons because he was trying to make it "Dancing with the Stars, but Focus on Bruno." I wish they would strap him to the chair. And enough with the double entendres . . . to men and women. He is not the least bit witty or amusing . . . or appropriate.

I didn't know how it worked for the West. So you can put the calls through during the appropriate times, but it would be before you saw the show?? Lots of people do that, so as long as you can vote for your favorites, it isn't as bad as I thought.

I don't know if I'd bother, unless I'd want James ,Sailor, Hannah to stay in. I saw MFW mentioned the money they make from voting, I'll admit, I never thought of that. I'm really tired of all the judges being booed, almost immediately, and Len could a little kinder to those that have never danced before .

Then I guess at 5:30 PM Pacific I can go online and place all my votes for the person I like without having watched them dance - no matter how they perform. Hello - Lauren Alaina!

Voting this way is even worse then before, it shows partiality to East/Central households and guarantees a popularity contest. You can change your vote one time before the last commercial when all votes are locked in, which is fortunate. I’m trying to base on that nights performances, but knowing people on Twitter are still giving shout outs for votes is disappointing.
