I've been hearing some really good things about the Trader Joe's Jalapeno Lime Almond Dip. I think I'm going to try it the next time I go there.

Will do! ^^
Also, I don't know if it's a seasonal item for Hanukkah but we had the Cauliflower Pancakes tonight with sour cream and they were delicious! It tasted a lot better than potato.

I've done a homemade version of cauliflower pancakes, and they were pretty good. I'll have to check out the ones at TJ's.

Some of the products on that list look good! I'm going to look for them on my next shopping trip! I'm a bit puzzled by the stroopwafel ice cream sandwich though. You eat regular stroopwafels by placing them over your cup of tea or coffee and letting the caramel melt before eating it. I don't think the cold ones would be as good They don't sell them at TJ's (I don't think), but I HIGHLY recommend Daelmans chocolate stroopwafels. They're insanely good! I picked up a little rosemary Christmas tree for my neighbor yesterday and grabbed up another gingerbread candle. I love baking smell candles in the kitchen and that one is really good!

I'm mad as hell now because I emailed my partner about the Stroopwafel Ice Cream sandwiches and he informed me that he bought some the last time we were there and he ate them all! Apparently they are really good but the size of a 50 cent piece. *sigh*

I just bought the Cocoa Peppermint-Flavored Almond Creamer and it's very good if you like peppermint flavored drinks. I just mix a bit of it with almond milk to reduce the amount of sugar. I've also had the Watermelon Cucumber Cooler and love that one, too!

I'm going to look for the Vegan crab cakes, Peppermint Almond creamer, Spicy Cheese crunchies, and the Caramel Ginger popcorn the next time I go to TJ.

Tragic TJ story of the day. I went to my local store planning to get some Ugly Sweater Cookie kits to give as fun little presents, but I couldn't find them, and when someone checked, there weren't any left where they were supposed to be. I also couldn't find any of the Carrot Cake Spread, which I was also interested in. :'( I did a little more shopping, then when I was checking out, I saw that the guy in front of me had just purchased about 6-8 fully packed paper bags full of Ugly Sweater Cookie Kits. He had bought out the entire supply. If only I'd gotten there a few minutes earlier. UGH!!!

I despise shelf clearers— it's such a selfish thing to do, and for him to have 6-8 bags means he probably bought out the entire stock.

Yes. He definitely took their entire stock. The checker said that he was a property owner that was putting together holiday gift baskets for all of the businesses in his buildings. So that was nice of him to do that for them, but it made it so the rest of us couldn't get them for ourselves or our friends.

Went to TJ tonight to pick up some smoothie stuff and it looked like people made a wild last minute dash for EVERYTHING! The only thing left in the pastry section was 2 packs of soft cookies and a roll cake. They were also completely out of the Jalapeno Lime Almond Dip, the Cauliflower cheese dip, and some other things I wanted but I was able to snag the Vegan crab cakes and the peppermint ice cream cones. Mess.

Guess what one of my Christmas presents was? A bottle of Trader Joe's Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate. Yeah, my family knows what I like. Seeing that the nearest Trader Joe's is 300 miles away from here, that stuff is like gold.

They didn't drive 300 miles to buy me my coffee concentrate (600 round trip). They were on vacation a couple of months ago where there are Trader Joe's. This is what I do too. In fact, I've told a lot of people about their products & now if someone is on vacation & see a Trader Joe's, they make a point of going there & buying stuff that travels well, just like I do. I'm creating an army of grocery shopping vacationers. Trader Joe's has become a destination location. I've sort of become a Goodwill Ambassador to Montana. They need to open a store here. My army is growing.

We got the Nantucket Style Cranberry Pie to have with Christmas dinner and OMG. It is SO good! Sort of like an upside down cranberry cake and not too sweet. Tart cranberries on top - sort of like a relish with whole cranberries - and a sweeter thin cake-like crust with walnuts. the tartness of the cranberries worked with the sweetness of the crust, so the flavor was perfect. Amazing. We finished it last night and are going back to buy another one today. I hope they're not sold out!
Alas, they didn't have the stroopwafel ice cream sandwiches

I forgot to mention my other seasonal purchase at TJ's. Their Winter tea is SO good. It's black tea with cinnamon and ginger, although I can't really taste the ginger much. It's perfect for the season. I'm going to buy a few more boxes when I go back!

They were sold out at my store, too, when I looked last week. I hope they'll get more so you can try them.

When I asked about the Jalapeno Lime Almond Dip the worker told me that they were getting in a huge shipment of almost everything on the 26th since they were completely out of a lot of items. I think that a lot of TJ stores are doing the same, so the Stoopwafel ice cream sandwiches and cranberry pies might be back in stock now. I would definitely call first though.

Cranberry pie! I have a cranberry relish dish sweetened with honey with curry and walnuts... that might make an awesome pie filling.

It was VERY good and we weren't the only ones who thought so. When we went back to get another one, they were GONE. We tried the mixed berry tart instead, but it was sort of meh. Just the crust and berries, which sounded great, but the crust was soggy as a result. If there had been some custard in there, it might have helped keep the crust more firm. We did get something really good that is probably also seasonal. It was turkey with corn bread stuffing en croute. You just bake the whole thing and slice it. LOTS of turkey in it, which isn't always the case. It comes with gravy and a spiced cranberry sauce too. We laughed about it because we did a full turkey dinner for Christmas, and went to TJ's looking for something different so we could take a break from all that turkey

Late to the party but I popped in just before Christmas and got the lemon ricotta cheese. We served it with crackers on New Year's Eve. Reactions were mixed: my husband did not care for it but he is not a lemon lover. Nor am I but it wasn't overpowering. I loved it and my sister thought it was just alright. I took it home and finished it up. Yum!

I served it at a family Christmas party as part of a cheese plate with some more savory options also available, and most people gravitated toward the savory, but my sister loved it. She said it was like eating cheesecake, which it kind of was. I enjoyed it, but I was glad to leave it at her house, since I had already polished a different wedge off by myself the week before.

The frozen Vegetable Panang Curry is pretty darned good! I'm lucky to live maybe 3 minute from an excellent Thai restaurant, but this red curry is an okay substitute. Not great, but good. Certainly cheaper than eating out! I found it near the Indian food.

I wish our Trader Joe's was on the east side of Tulsa instead of the west side. Would be so much easier. It isn't hard getting there just hate going to that side of town. Brookside area is a pain in the tail. I am wanting some more coolie butter so I will have to break down and go. I also want to see if they have those little ice cream cookies everyone is talking about. I love their peppered turkey bacon and I like their butter also. I found little boxes of whipping cream that was non perishable and I liked it too when I only needed a little bit. The shelf life on it isn't real long though.

I asked about them at my store and was told they were a seasonal thing that wouldn't be restocked.
