Sorry had to take my dog potty and got slightly behind. Top tier episode. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers but I am ready to see everyone in 7 days!!

I had a feeling that Bachelor line was going to be on this episode Yes! I loved it! hahaha Phaedra's been playing way too cool all along, so then her defense did sound overly aggressive. But, they're not seeing that as obvious guilt, the dummies are just following along and voting for Peter. Sandra's disappointing me. I don't know them, so didn't have high hopes for Sheree' or MJ, so their blind allegiance is just ... whatever. But, come on, Sandra, you're supposed to be GOOD at these games.

Alan's eyeliner slowly becomes intense throughout each episode. LOL, the woman host from the UK version likely left a good supply there for him to dip into! Have you seen her (Claudia)? It's a LOT of black.

Sandra is such a let down. Never seen her before this season but so far she's overrated. It's very odd how the CBS crew didn't play this well, while the bachelor and bravo have outlasted so many.

I'm not a happy camper right now First it was Larsa and Marcus.
Now it is Phaedra and CT.
Where will it end?

Boo to cliffhangers. Hard to know which way MJ will go. It would be cool in some ways to see them get Phaedra out (that move against Trishelle must have been sloppy, because Kate was shocked by it and thought it was a huge mistake). But to be down to just Kate or have to recruit another traitor at this point could make the next few weeks pretty boring unless they recruited Sandra. That could be cool.

Oh! Haha Gotcha! I'm not at all sad about Larsa and Marcus though and they were an actual couple. CT and Phaedra are only a couple in my dreams

So apparently the season preview (what they showed before the season started) has a scene in it that hasn't happened yet with one of the two (Phaedra or Peter) IN the preview. I can't understand for the LIFE OF ME why production keeps spoiling their own cliffhangers. WTF.

It’s going to take a lot of self-restraint not to go look at that, but as much as I hate cliffhangers I don’t want to be spoiled on this one. 🫣

I am disappointed with Phaedra's performance as a Traitor. She has no ability to take the lead in murdering. I can see why Dan and Parvati took charge. Poor Kate had no prep or direction, so she just choose the person (Kevin) who has annoyed her from the start. (Though I would have kept him around, and seduced him to be a traitor, at least he can act.) Kate always makes me laugh through every episode, I loved her 'first day on a job is always the worst' humor.
MJ was observant at breakfast and Kate should have said made an excuse, maybe about not sleeping well because of fear she would be murdered, anything would be better than just saying she was fine. I haven't seen any spoilers so I feel comfortable speculating. Phaedra did not come off well in the round table last night. She looked like a guilty traitor. Peter on the other hand looks frustrated and upset whenever he is accused, angry sometimes. Like an outraged faithful.
I don't know if MJ is clueless, or loyal (not that she has any close allies in there other than network affiliation), but, if I have to guess.... I would say she boots Phaedra. But, even if Peter goes, Phaedra will probably be the next person banished, because so many people are suspicious of her especially now.
"IF" Phaedra was banished, I hope Kate makes a wise decision in recruiting a new (join us or be murdered) traitor. Maybe someone so likeable that no one will suspect they are a traitor? If it were me, I would recruit CT or Trishelle. Someone who really wants to stay in the game, or willing to switch sides rather than be instantly murdered.
It is not easy being a good traitor. You have to really think and act like a faithful desperate to catch a traitor, then act victorious when a traitor is banished.

I think Phaedra is trying for a "clean hands" approach to being a Traitor. She wants the other person to make the decisions and the mistakes in the game and them to be targets. Phaedra is also a chameleon, she observes the other person and agrees with them, even takes on a bit of their personality, notice Kate being snarky about Kevin and then Phaedra was doing the same thing.
If Phaedra is asked directly about any of the murders she can honestly say she did have anything to do with it as it was the other persons idea.

Wait, is the next episode (10) the Finale? There are a ton of people still playing... I know there is a reunion episode at the end, but if that reunion airs March 7th, then Thursday is the finale.... It seems too soon. Doesn't it?

It does seem too soon. That makes me start speculating about how it could wrap up so fast. Hmmm.
EDITED TO ADD: I looked it up, and there are two episodes left.
Episode 10: Airs on February 29, 2024
Episode 11: Airs on March 7, 2024
I'm thinking maybe episode 11 and the reunion show become available on the same day. I hope this is right. I could see things getting wrapped up in two episodes.

I could see things getting wrapped up in two episodes. Traitors 1 had 11 episodes with 11 being the reunion.
Traitors 1 also had 20 cast members.
Traitors 1 had 6 cast members in episode 9 and 5 cast members in episode 10. There was a banishment in episode 10 with 4 people in the End Game.
Traitors 2 I thought was going to be 10 episodes plus a reunion episode.
Traitors 2 has 22 cast members including late arrival Kate.
Traitors 2 had 9 cast members remaining as of the episode 9 cliffhanger.
Traitors 2 Episode 10 will be packed with murder and banishment. Round Table Banishment + Murder should make it 7 cast members with at least another Round Table + Banishment making it 5 cast left for the End Game.
Or they will add another episode plus the reunion.

I know I heard them announce this week was finale and was puzzled because there were so many players left. But what if Phaedra (cliffhanger) is banished, and then Kate is turned down when she tries to recruit another Traitor, and then Kate gets banished? Then the remaining Faithfuls get the money! Yay!
Well, it could possibly end like that. I haven't a clue. But yes, it does seem there are too many players left to end it in one more episode.

Finale on Thursday will be busy then. Round table banishments, murder, challenges….. and then, fire smoke (Red or Green), they might do a round or more of that, Either 1 or 2 traitors win or several Faithfuls. I’m Hoping for the Faithfuls too Punkin! I think Episode 11 is just reunion, I guess we will know soon enough.

If this week is the finale, then Kate wouldn’t need to recruit anyone if Phaedra is banished. She’d just have to murder someone by herself, but then the Faithful would know there’s still a traitor around.

The thing about traitors is they do like to throw each other under the bus as a parting gesture. Kate supported Phaedra last round table, so if Peter stays there would be no one to snitch on Kate. But if Phaedra stays, they could easily throw each other under the bus. It could fun either way. Still a lot of people playing, so will they continue to banish other faithful's? It would be sad to play a Faithful all season and be banished at the end just because of paranoia.

I’m watching Sandra on Dan‘s podcast, and she just said that there are 11 episodes plus the Reunion show. It’s possible that she misspoke, but that does give me hope that there might be a little bit more content before the end.

Sandra has been persistently and confidently jumping down rabbit holes throughout the season. LOL! This is not her game! But it's kept her around by the Traitors because she's not perceived as dangerous. Nor is Sheree, or MJ. Two banishments and a murder to go, by my count. The only clued in ones left are John, Trishelle, Peter (assuming Phaedra is banished) and CT. That's a smarter group than you'll find at most Traitor's finales. I'm rooting for them. But can they uncover Kate?
