They know for a fact the one brother's was a lipoma, because he opted to have it removed. The other brother wanted to "think about it" before deciding, so his went home with him.

Good show last night!
- A lovely young lady who, after getting her ears pierced, developed keloids at the tops of her ears, so they looked elf-like. I have to admit, this is the first time I've ever seen keloids develop at the top of the ears; normally they show up around the piercing. Dr. Lee thought they were the cutest things ever but agreed they had to be removed. So she did, and the young lady was pleased. In a update, she had cut her hair really short (which ironically made her look like an elf) and was dabbling into modeling.
- A sad man had what could only be described as a huge bump on the side of his head, near the eye. He was sad because he stopped going to family gatherings because every time he went the family would talk about his bump and make him feel self-conscious (This made me very angry; what a horrible thing to do to anyone, but your relative? That's foul, plus one of his female relatives was on dialysis twice a week but was still getting icecream with him at that shop and I see he didn't comment about THAT, but I digress). Dr. Lee wasn't sure what the bump was made out of, so she ordered a cat scan first, which disappointed him because he thought that the bump would be removed that day. After a couple of weeks she got the report back; it was a lipoma, which meant she could remove it! It was a tough one but she finally got it all. He was very happy, and the update showed him getting his hair and beard cut and once again attending family gatherings.
- An older gentleman with those nasty, oily bumps on his head, chest, and back (along with some growths). His wife (a popoholic, and probably the reason why he got on the show lol) would squeeze the ones on his back, but there were so many, plus he said the stuff inside smelled like rotten meat. Dr. Lee said that he had a combination of growths/cysts/something else and worked to remove as many as possible. Afterwards, he said that he felt (and smelled) a lot better, and thanked Dr. Lee.

All wonderful....all warm and fuzzy
Keloids--Dr. Sandra Lee told her to get a dermatologist in her area. If she felt any return of the itching to go to the dermatologist to get steroid shots to calm it down so it does not return. She had had a piercing on the top of her ears--where her elve points were.
Next week: a lady with a lot of bumpy growth surrounding both eyes sees Dr. Sandra Lee; and it sounds like she is going to remove them.

I'm wondering if I should skip next week's episode as stuff around the eyes makes me uneasy and her bumps looked like they were filled with fluid.

The bumps around the eyes remind me of a "reaction" to something. I have friends who have had bumps arising around their eyes. I did not think the bumps where fluid filled. I thought they were more in the nature of moles.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this show is how upbeat Dr. Lee is. She seems to really enjoy her job. Now I don't know if some of it is for the cameras, but really she does seem like a lovely lady. I love how she always is so into all the procedures she has to perform. I really think this helps the patients relax.

I felt so bad for that man who had that...thing on his arm who was deathly afraid of Drs. offices, thinking he would catch the plague there. I can't imagine having a phobia of the thing that can help you. It was very nice of Dr. Lee and her staff to accommodate his phobia by wearing masks and explaining to him exactly what she was doing. It was a show start because she had to send out a sample to get checked, but it wasn't cancerous and he was able to convince himself (with the help of a friend) to get the growth removed.

I rewatched one of the old shows this morning.
* Women with one side of her body large--it is very interesting. The advice was for her to watch her diet since she is putting weight on the one side location. * Thin women with large fat mass above her boob--she was getting nervous and thought she would pass out. I can feel for her. I have passed out unexpectedly when blood was being drawn. I woke up and found four people over me; and I had peed myself. So it would probably be a nightmare for me to be in the situation (in office surgery) where I could make a mess for everyone. That being said, it was in her best interest to be as quiet as possible for the doctor to focus on getting all of that fatty tumor out.

I suppose it had to happen...but Dr. Lee finally ran into someone she couldn't help with her skillset. A man had a weird growth enveloping his finger that wasn't loose (like a keloid) and the mass was firmly attached to the flash and bone underneath it. I believe it's a two-part episode because in next week's previews she's seen calling several specialists trying to get him some help.

I have to admit I am curious to see how it works out.

Just as I suspected, it was a two-parter. Dr. Lee took MRI's of the man's finger and sent it to different hand surgeons in the area and one of them wanted to do the surgery. It was a very delicate operation as he had to be careful of veins and nerves but he finally got the growth off and sewed him up carefully. The surgery was truly life-changing for him as things he couldn't do in the past (ie: wear gloves, play video games, etc) were now in his reach. Another case was a 14 year old boy with a huge birthmark on his neck with some growths on it. He was concerned about it because of cancer and because some classmates would call him horrible names. His mom wanted him to keep it because it reminded her of his father, now deceased (easy for mom to say; she's not the one getting harassed about it). After looking at it, Dr Lee determined that she could not remove the birthmark since he was born with it; however, she could remove the growths and test the scale on it for cancer. No cancer was found, and he was very happy that she could do something. A woman with a huge growth on her thigh was very shy in front of her fiance, and would go through all sorts of steps to hide it from the world. Dr. Lee determined that it was a cyst and removed it, and she was very happy.

Because on doctor said no? I'd see another. And no lady, it isn't cute, it could have killed your son.

She pissed me off. Her son is telling her that he's literally being called "sh*tneck" and other terrible things and your response is "keep it, it reminds me of your father?" And yeah, some doctors are rude so I would have just gone to another one.

I've been watching some of it. Last night the guy with the huge bump on his back that was full of fluid from her very first episode was back. The fluid came back and he had a huge bump again. This time, he had to have it drained plus a procedure done on his back to prevent it from coming back. Months later, it seems to have worked and he was working out and I think planning on being a physical trainer? It was a nice ending.

He seems like such a nice man and I was glad to see it gone, hopefully for good.

New season just started and it's really interesting; they filmed during Covid so Dr. Lee is doing a lot of tele-visits with people and looking at their problem areas to screen them for a future visit with her. If the people they are showing tonight is indicative of what's coming this season all I have to say is "goodness" because these people have off the chain skin issues. Lots of HUGE growths and tumors and the saddest of all a young girl who wore bangs because her skin was like thick and scaly behhind her ears, on her forehead and all over her stomach and back.
