I think all of these couples are stretching the truth for drama, but I don't believe anything about Caesar's story. Darcy doesn't need a relationship right now. She needs to work on her own self-esteem.

She needs to work on her own self-esteem. Tom told her the same thing Jesse did, work on yourself. She does. Caesar's story is just so unbelievable, its hard to think anyone is so stupid. Though I will admit, I would watch him going to the Ukraine to hunt Maria down!

With the outbreak of war in Syria this week, I've been wondering where Avery and Omar are and whether Avery realizes her choice of living in Syria was not wise. If she's there, her mother must be frantic at the moment. Hope she's well.

If there is a quiz that asked respondents to name the top three, or ten most dangerous places to live in the current world's situation, Syria is way high on the lists! Avery has been a Muslim convert for about 6 months before the filming! (Likely because she saw this available cute Muslim online and redefined her life.) I'm becoming of the opinion that all these "Reality" people are just phony actors who have plotted out a employment opportunities.
You know, they keep showing up and rarely go away if there is a paycheck proffered.

Avery is in the States. I believe she posted pictures on Instagram a few weeks back with Omar's sister who lives in New Jersey.

Well that Tell All Last night for the other way was pretty boring. We learned nothing new either.
Before the 90 Days was good, Rebecca finally told Zied. How could she not know he would be upset. Tom was a big show off with his dancing, to funny both primping before they went in. I wouldn’t like seeing him dance with all those woman either. She really didn’t try to learn either. Poor Ben when her father said that about his gifts. That is what Akini told him to do.
Now we are getting more couples in a new show I will never keep the straight.

THEN she went online to find a guy who wouldn't think she looks like a poseur.

nicksmom I agree, how can Rebecca be surprised that Zied would be upset? If it's not against the law in his country to be with a married woman, it's definitely against the culture. Which one of the people on Pillow Talk said something like it's not okay in any culture? (Pillow Talk is still the best part of the show and I wish they had it for The Other Way too.) I also was wondering what was up with Akini telling Ben to get that stuff that wasn't appropriate. It's like she was sabotaging him on purpose between that and making him late. Is she hoping her father says no? She does not seem to be helping him that much but hindering him instead!

She insisted on him buying that as part of the tradition, to present the family with groceries. Ben needs to be looking for a relationship with someone more compatible. Honestly, I don't understand what most of these people see in each other. Akini is whiny and needy, reminds me of Karine. Is that what these guys want to be saddled with the rest of their lives? Jeniffer is smart and gorgeous. She should just dump Tim and move on. She's really putting up with his nonsense about Veronica and not having sex and giving her that inappropriate ring when he should have known better, and she doesn't have to deal with all that. Bye-bye Tim!

It seems to me that TLC needs to do a little more research on these people before featuring them on a TV show. We've been conned (more than once) by people who are doing the show for free advertising for their businesses, web shows, etc.
I think the concept of filming GENUINE 90-day fiance visa applicants could be interesting without all the drama, fakery, etc. Show some of the folks (who can't work until they get their green cards) in LANGUAGE classes, learning how to maneuver in a totally different environment . . . REAL stuff. Any of us who have traveled abroad have probably been glad we DIDN'T have a camera on us while we floundered around a foreign environment. Show the American half of the couple working to HELP their new spouse succeed, rather than picking at them about EVERYTHING they do.
After just the few seasons they've shown of 90DF and it's various iterations, I'm beginning to be insulted that TLC pulls these stunts with actors and fame whores.

Bye-bye Tim! I would agree with that, though Jennifer is verbally abusive towards Tim. I don't know why someone would want to be with another person that keeps calling them a coward and a pus*y all the time. If he's nevous about sleeping with her, she could be a little more respectful towards his feelings.

Somehow I missed the part about all those groceries being inappropriate for Ben to give her father? Maybe my phone rang? What was wrong and how much was the bride fee?

Her father said the groceries were things that they did for mourning. They haven't agreed on a price yet although Akini told him it would be about $3,000 and, IIRC, he only had between $700 - $800

I think all of these couples are stretching the truth for drama, but I don't believe anything about Caesar's story. Darcy doesn't need a relationship right now. She needs to work on her own self-esteem. More than that, Darcy needs to work on being nice, kind and considerate to others! I feel sorry for her, cause she seems so desperate to be in a relationship --- but from what we've seen with her last 2 boyfriends, she is impossible to deal with!

According to the coming attractions, it didn't take long for her to start screwing up her relationship with Tom when she got home. I can't tell if he's a decent guy with healthy boundaries, or a player who won't really commit. All the American women I've seen on this show are trainwrecks of desperation, neediness, and low self-esteem. The men are certainly no prizes, either.

After watching a few episodes of this mess the Americans on this show seem to be fetishizing opportunists who are into these people overseas for all the wrong reasons, and it's gross to the point that I don't care if they are being taken for a ride or not.

I'm tired of the culture shock. Google a country before you go. Don't marry someone if you know nothing about their culture and why they may see the world differently. It's getting to be like House Hunters. They need new storylines and scripts.

In the previews for the reunion, why is Darcy's ex Jesse there? lol

Jesse has no business there whatsoever. It's all for controversy. What went on between him and Darcy is ancient history. I fear some of his remarks at the reunion will cause a rift between Darcy and Tom, which would be a shame. By the way, hasn't Jesse had his 15 minutes of fame?

I think I've watched this whole season and have only heard him talked about, and not in a good way either. Was he truly abusive? If so, that's a pretty crappy thing for the producers to do to Darcy. Forcing someone to interact with an abusive person seems like added abuse. I never watched when he was on, so I am only going by what they said about him this season.

I'm tired of hearing about Jesse. I agree with both of you. There is no reason for him to be there except to be a tv stunt. TLC is getting sloppy, even for this show's standards.

How many times have we heard Dr. Phil excuse a guest from the stage saying "I will never put an abuser together with his victim", before said abuser comes out?

I don't think I've ever watched Dr Phil for more than 10 minutes total, so I've never heard him say that, but it just makes sense to me. I think that's the way it should be. I really don't know why they're having him on to begin with since he was never a part of this season other than them mentioning him. It's especially reprehensible if he was abusive to Darcy.

Is it just me or does it seem like Akyni's family is playing Ben for a fool or just punking him? She tells him what to bring for the bride price, the brother is geeing him on to present the goods of groceries etc. and papa Akyni says we bring that for funerals.

Akinyi had something to do with him bringing those groceries to the bride price negotiations, too. Why did she encourage him to do that? Looks like they're all in cahoots to extort as much money from Benjamin as possible, making him feel that he owes them the rest of his life to make up for his faux pas.

I think Akyni's family is playing games, Akyni included. I don't know how much is for tv drama and how much is real, but it all seems like a setup to get as much money as possible.
