Season 4 Episode 3 - "High Flight" - November 4, 2022
Liked that the story does move on without Ben Stone.
At Adrian's compound, Eden experiences a Calling, which is then discovered to be shared with Ben. Angelina tests her connection with Eden by trying to draw the same picture and fails. Reinvigorated by the knowledge that his daughter is alive, Ben is helped by Jared and Drea in following Angelina's tracks. Once home, he is able to see in real time Eden's drawings which Olive deciphers as the Treasure Hunt nursery rhyme she taught her. Michaela and Cal have a Calling of thunder and lightning. Michaela discovers that the thunder Calling is shared by Amuta, the 828 co-pilot. Initially reluctant to follow it, he admits to knowing what happened during the six seconds in which all Callings were recorded in the black box: a "long, delirious, burning blue" that the plane went through and left a sense of peace that only he, Captain Daly, and Cal could see and feel. Hearing this, Cal - now marked with the same dragon scar as Henry Kim - finally remembers being back on the plane with Captain Daly and Fiona right after he touched the tailfin and disappeared, and sheds light on Daly's reappearance when he tries to stop Cal from going back. Concerned with the well-being of the other resident passengers, Adrian asks Eagan for advice and reveals Angelina and Eden's whereabouts. Relentlessly bullied in prison, Eagan sees an opportunity to make a deal with Ben.
