Manage to catch a few dances... My Saints played tonight and I had to watch my boy Brees break the record for all time leading passer!!! Lol Juan/Cheryl...WOW WOW WOW. Milo/Wit so gooodddd!!! And I loved Demarcus and Lindsay!! That girl is totally not afraid to be lifted!! I love how light on his feet he is and his passion for his children! Shed a tear when they hugged at the end! I was shocked when my mom texted me who was in jep! No way should Tinashe/B have been there! I still have to watch the rest of them! I wondered where you were.I think it was a really good night, with JP totally winning me over..

Loved Evanna, Juan (Oh,my) and Milo - so cute and finding his feet. That is as far as I've gotten so far.

I am both surprised and not surprised that Nancy & Val were eliminated this week...on one hand I'm not surprised because Nancy has been rather forgettable and virtually no one really knew her beforehand, and she had a very small fanbase to begin with, and she clearly wasn't one of the better dancers, so I had a feeling that she probably wasn't going to last long on the show. But on the other hand I'm also surprised because with Val's huge fanbase, I would've thought that his fans would've been enough to push them further into the competition, in past seasons many of Val's partners were able to go far in the competition mostly relying on Val's fanbase. But for Val and his partner to be eliminated in only the third week this season is very surprising to me...I guess maybe even many of Val's fans just weren't that invested in his partnership with Nancy this season. I have to admit, as a long-time Val fan, even I wasn't that interested in Nancy, frankly she did nothing for me, she was very forgettable and I just wasn't interested in her & Val's partnership this season, such a shame.
And Val is also a judge on the Juniors version, so maybe that played a part in Val's premature elimination too...I find it interesting that Val got eliminated so early in the adults version this season and is a judge on the Juniors version, while his fiancee Jenna and her team were eliminated in the first week on Juniors but she is still competing on the adults version...mmm...I smell possible rigging from the producers, or was that just coincidence?

I thought I read somewhere that the junior version was filmed in August, and that what we're seeing isn't live.

really? Where did you read that the juniors version was filmed in August? Then again that would make sense, because all of the pros on the adult version also mentor their own teams on the juniors version, so I would imagine it would've been too difficult for the pros to juggle both shows simultaneously, since they would've had to not only train their own partners on the adult version, but they would've also had to train the kids on the juniors version at the same time. So it would make sense if the juniors version was filmed a few months ago.

Yes, the junior version has been done filming! It's not a live show!
Also, for trios, why do some groups have people who are not a DWTS alumni????
And isn't is still kind of early for trios??!?! I don't get the rush this season! I think this week everyone did loads better cause they only had to focus on one dance, just them & their partners!

It seems very rushed, but everyone did better having one dance. Some of them will do well with trios, others, not so much.
