The Fastest 2 Minutes in Cooking - Fifteen American chefs are off to the races at Churchill Downs. After a lightning-fast two-minute mise-en-place focused quickfire, the chefs are challenged to make a dish that will appeal to a crowd of two hundred at a stakes-filled Kentucky Derby party.
Enjoy the show!

I always start Top Chef then I quit watching. I get too attached to the chefs and hate to see anyone eliminated, unless they are mean. The quick-fire challenge was tough, but I'm glad they all did well. I don't know how I feel about Brandon yet.

Ok, I need to know what was in that potato soup. Pickled morels? Yes please. Surprised to see a crudo and a ceviche in the top since they are the meatloaf of Top Chef.
So excited to see a Ghanaian Chef in the group! He's my favorite so far since I can't wait to see what he will be cooking.

I was ok with Caitlin going. I wasn't impressed with her idea to be honest, even if I would have tried it given I do not eat meat. I so rarely like someone out of the gate but this season I have a few I really can say I like a lot. But time will tell As much as I love this show and 99% of the people on it.. Padma is worse each year. I wanted to throw something at my TV when she made her snarky "I may be in the minority but I don't like brining meat" You can really tell when she doesn't like someone, poor behaviour IMO. To me she is simply a cook.. one that acts like it it putting her out most times to be on the show or interact with anyone who is not a host or guest judge. She has no classical training, never worked in the industry, nothing. She complied a book of recipes, that is it. UGH, ok, rant off now. lol.

I hate to be petty, but did Padma get some face work done......?.. Her lips and/or her nose seemed off.
Having said that i enjoyed the episode as always. Looks like a good crew of talented chefs.

I'm happy that the hosts are happy with the quality of the food being cooked this season. Hope they can keep it up.
Off to watch Top Chef Kitchen.

Hopefully he will stay for a while, along with Natalie.
On the other hand, I can't wait for Brandon to go. His remark about how "he was meant to dominate this competition" rubbed me the wrong way as well as his "helpful" advice about Adrienne's pasta she didn't ask him for.

On twitter everyone was hating on Brandon, for now he isn't annoying me as much as other contestants have. Yet....
