Who Killed Sara? - There are two seasons and I binged it all. Spanish murder mystery that is dubbed to English. This is up there as one of the most ridiculous story lines I have ever seen. The amount of twists and turns can be exhausting but the sheer hilarity of where the plot goes is just nuts. And I loved every minute of it. I said out loud several times while watching this, "You've got to be kidding me"?. Very much enjoyed this series and hope there is a 3rd season. I think there is a season 3..

Finished the last half of Lucifer season 5...what a crazy ending. I can't even guess how they'll finish this off. And {Spoiler} How are they going to do that to poor Dan?!

I initially stopped watching during the Dan Prank episode because it was just so stupid; but I girded my loins and took it back up, gritting my teeth to get through it. After that it got so interesting, I'm happy I was prodded to continue.
It was wild, but now that God has been chosen by the archAngels, maybe Dan can be moved by decree from the basement to the top floor.

I binged Sweet Tooth this weekend. LOVED it! I was going to describe it myself, but it seemed too weird, so here is how they describe the series: "On a perilous adventure in a post-apocalyptic world, a boy who's half-human and half deer searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector." I will always be a sucker for gruff protectors being soft-hearted with children.

Sweet Tooth - I didn't think I'd like this (it looked very kiddish) but it was really good! It occasionally got a bit dark, so I'm not sure who the target audience was. I do hope they make a second season. Awake - some mysterious something has ruined all electronics and taken away people's ability to sleep. You won't have this problem if you bother watching this mess. Started out good and got progressively stupider until concluding with a really dumb ending. The Clovehitch Killer - Dylan McDermott plays a seemingly perfect dad...but is he? This was a well-acted, slow-burn thriller inspired by Dennis Rader, the BTK killer. Black Summer (season 2) - more zombies, awful people, and irritating non-linear storytelling. It's hard to keep up with what's going on in this frantic mess, but I watch anyway.

I haven't made it through Sweet Tooth or Awake for the reasons you stated. The first got too dark for me and the second (once they brought out the rifles) really stupid, cliche post-apoplectic.

I'm trying to get through season 2 of Black Summer and UGH. Clearly someone thinks they're artsy or something, but good grief, how about some character development or an actual narrative?
Also, this show is SO cynical. So everyone in the zombie apocalypse will want to kill everyone else. No working together at all. I wouldn't expect everyone to hold hands and sing songs, but jeez. It's depressing in a way that even other zombie shows aren't.

I wasted my time watching The Ice Road, Liam Neeson's latest awful action movie. Why do I keep trying? I remember when he made great movies. I blame Taken. That's when it all started going downhill.
I watched the first however many episode of Too Hot to Handle are available right now and WOW, they found enough shallow, sex-obsessed people to do a second season. It's completely ridiculous, but I still sort of enjoy it, mainly because of the narrator, who is so snarky. I can't believe how much makeup some of these young girls wear. In in particular had so much foundation and concealer/contour going that she looked like Michael Jackson. I wonder if she watched herself and thought she looked good. Some of these people are quite attractive and they generally all do have great bodies, but they're not all super hot. Confidence is everything, I guess

We watched Ice Road, too. I wasn't overly impressed with that movie.

I am currently watching the first two seasons of The Mole (2001)with host, Anderson Cooper. I had never watched it and am enjoying this Amazing Race with tons more anxiety added to completing tasks. Anderson creeps me out when he just sits or stands as the run or walk past him.

A few weeks ago I was asking hubby if he had ever watched it and he had not, but I couldn't find it streaming. Something for us to watch together, yay!!!

We finished it on Sunday. My husband spent most of the time confused as to what was going on and who was who. I actually liked it and found it really creepy. I understand how you feel about people not working together and people just wanting to kill each other, but considering how people are behaving IRL as we speak, I don't find it too much of stretch.

Katla - weird things happen in a little Icelandic town after a subglacial volcano erupts. Weird and creepy, I really enjoyed it. There's an option for English dubbing done by the original actors if you don't want to read subtitles.
The Seventh Day - quite possibly the most boring exorcism movie ever made and a total waste of Guy Pearce.
Murder by the Coast - another true crime doc, not bad.
Manifest - I never watched it on NBC originally, and now I know why. It's like Twilight Zone crossed with a bad soap opera - silly writing and bad acting. I'll probably finish the rest of the episodes, but more as background noise than as something I really pay attention to.

We just finished ' Luis Miguel,' it was excellent. We didn't know who he was at one time , but years ago on a cruise, they played some of his music, and we sat with a couple that loved his music, and talked about him. . Seeing his life story play out, it was very well done, all of the characters. We're hoping there's a season 3! 👍 it helps if you enjoy latin music..lol

Still pushing through Manifest, basically just hate-watching now. It's still big on Netflix so everyone but me must love it. Fear Street: 1994 - this was...okay. Stranger Things did a much better job of evoking the 80's than Fear Street does with the 90's, even though they play a different 90's song every two minutes. Too forced. The 70's part of the trilogy drops tomorrow, hopefully it's better.

We watched The 8th Night, a Korean film, over the weekend. I really enjoyed it. A rogue monk has to stop the end of the world from happening by a spirit that is possessing people. I really liked it. It wasn't out and out horror, nor thriller but a combination .

I finished season 2 of Manifest on Netflix. Is there a season 3? Anyway, they need someone new to write the dialogue. I can't stand when people yell a person's name over and over without waiting for a reply. It is so annoying. and the Josh character is so over the top with knee jerk reactions, as is the sister. OMG. However I do want to know the answer to the disappearance so hope for a season 3.

I m watching the 7th season of discovery channel’s Alone which Netflix seems to have. Interestingly the survivalists are pretty thoughtful people although occasionally they give you TMI. I would absolutely love to have some of their skills — not to mention their self-sufficiency. But I wasn’t the right gender for shop— if my high school even had it. Plus I was totally on the academic track — not realizing how partial a life that.prepares you for. And my father barely knew what a screwdriver did. But I do love watching the builds and seeing the struggle to deal with separation from their families —not to mention how impressive they are and their clear awareness and acceptance of their limits.

The Ice Road - I should have listened to the bad reviews here and not bothered. But, I like big trucks and the scenery was nice, so there's that, at least. Fear Street: 1978 - much better, had a good Friday the 13th vibe. Looking forward to the last one next week.

I went back a page or two but didn't see a mention of Harlan Coben's "Safe" or "The Stranger". If you like thrillers/suspense, these are both good binge watches. There is another series from the same author called "The Woods". Still need to check that out.

We watched two movies on Netflix this weekend. The first is Ashin of the North Kingdom. We loved the series Kingdom and this was kind of a prequel following the woman we saw at the end of season 2. I loved it. My husband thought it dragged. He wanted more zombies. I told him to be patient.
The second one we saw was Blood Red Sky. It is about a plane that is hijacked. There is a woman on there with her son. She appears to be dying..... wow, what a twist! IT was maybe 20 minutes too long, but we really liked it.

I agree about Blood Red Sky - they should have tightened up that last hour, it ran a bit long. Good story, though. I've always preferred the {Spoiler} Nosferatu style vampires over the sparkly, pretty ones we have in most vampire movies I love everything Kingdom and the Ashin movie was no exception. I want season three!
