When they announced it, I didn't think I'd watch, but I binged all six episodes of Coming Out Colton yesterday. I think I was expecting something like that dreadful series that Caitlyn Jenner did when she came out of trans. It just revealed that she was as much of a self-involved jerk as a woman as she was as a man. OTOH, while I still don't agree with some decisions Colton made (especially around being the Bach and what happened after), I do respect how he handled himself on this show. He seems to really want to figure out who he is and be truthful about it.The episodes are only about 30 minutes each, so it's a quick watch. I was impressed with how his father (and the rest of his family) really supported him. Not so impressive? His horrible pastor. He's well shod of that bigot. He's an example of why some people leave religion.
Castle for Christmas wasn't Oscar-worthy stuff, but it was nice to see leads in a rom-com who aren't bright, shiny 25-year olds. Plus, it was fun to see Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes.

I started watching You around Thanksgiving. Only one episode in to Season 2 right now. I am liking it pretty well, but don't really find it binge-worthy

I also really enjoyed Coming out Colton. I didn't expect much depth for some reason and there was a lot more than I thought. He has a very loving family. I loved how his brother reacted to him coming out as if it was just another random conversation. I kept hoping Colton would hang up on that idiot pastor of his.

I think that guy told Colton all the things he probably told himself for so long. I really felt for him. You could see his hands shaking. Putting, IIRC, rape, murder and homosexuality on the same level is really sick. No wonder he was so afraid to come out if THAT is who’s been his religious teacher I was so happy Colton seems to have found a much more welcoming church. His faith is clearly really important to him and no one should have to go to a church that makes you hate yourself. I was also pretty angry about the guys he knows from church. They were very judge-y and you could tell they were not okay with him being gay. Like, the only way they’d be okay with his sexuality would be if he completely abstained. Jerks. He recently revealed that he’s in a relationship and his boyfriend (who’s definitely a Daddy) seems nice. I hope they’re happy.

Those guys definitely weren't accepting. The body language was everything! I'm so happy he has a boyfriend! I kind of wanted the show to go on longer so I could see him become more comfortable but obviously that is private But now I really want him to be the bachelor again

Lost in Space - the final season. Not bad at all, it wrapped everything up nicely and seemed to leave it open for a spinoff if they wanted to do so...
Hellbound - another supernatural/drama Korean series from the Train to Busan director. I almost gave up on it but it got really good after a few episodes. Again, the dubbed version isn't great, watch with English subtitles if you can.
I wasn't going to watch the Colton series but maybe I'll check it out...

THE UNFORGIVABLE!
I have not seen Sandra Bullock in a movie in a while. I think that Bird movie was the last movie I saw with her.
I know she is extremely devoted to her adopted children. So I believe her acting has taken a back seat for awhile.
SB's acting was awesome. A very emotional movie. Sad and emotional.
A must see.
Do not read any spoilers at all. Just watch the movie.

And Sandra is not afraid to film without make-up! Bravo for her! Wish I could leave my home without make-up, but no.

I'm pretty sure she will be nominated for a few awards for her performance. She was outstanding!

The super annoying character with the makeup and black light can be fast forwarded - but he does make a difference later.

The Witcher Season 2 - was much, much, much better than season 1. I think they changed writers, that made a huge difference and the editing and directing were different. It was a huge improvement.

The power of the dog.
Excellent film and wonderful performances from the four leads. I especially loved that the ending wasn't spelt out for the audience I see this film, especially Cumberbatch heading for awards..

The Unforgivable was based on a British 3-part series called "Unforgiven." I watched it on Amazon Prime after watching the movie on Netflix.
Also very well done!!!!

Season 2 of Emily in Paris is available now. I love this messy show; it's pure froth and escapism.

I started watching Unforgivable and realized I had seen something like this before. This was a remake of the British version with Suranne Jones and Siobhan Finneran which was also really good. They both did a great job as the lead.

We started watching The Silent Sea on Netflix which is a Korean Scifi thriller/horror. So far three episodes in and it is quite good. It stars the lead from Train to Busan and the woman who plays the nurse in Kingdom.

Don't Look Up - perfectly snarky, fun, spot on social/political commentary. Definitely watch until the very end...
The Power of the Dog - I kind of figured out what was going on early, but did NOT see that ending coming. Fantastic acting by the whole cast.
The Witcher (season 2) - almost done with this one, and I agree with comments above about the improved writing/storytelling.
