Don't Look Up - perfectly snarky, fun, spot on social/political commentary. Definitely watch until the very end... The Power of the Dog - I kind of figured out what was going on early, but did NOT see that ending coming. Fantastic acting by the whole cast. The Witcher (season 2) - almost done with this one, and I agree with comments above about the improved writing/storytelling. I am still laughing over the free snacks.

The Witcher 2 - SO much better than the first season. This is more my hubby's interest but I paid attention during this season much more than last.
The Unforgivable - Give me Viola Davis any day and I will watch. She was great, Sandra was great. I didn't see that twist coming. Wow. I thought the movie was well done.
Don't Look Up - Loved all the snark. Definitely watch until the end, credits and all so you don't miss anything. If that was Meryl's Streep butt, I want my butt to look like that right now lol.
Silence of the Sea - Binged this and it was really interesting. I enjoyed it, although the dubbing seems to always be bad, but hang in there. Sci Fi mission gone awry with many characters having ulterior motives and you never know who is really on the "good" side.
Hellbound - This was a hot mess. The story was very interesting and different... but the execution of it was just blah. It could have been so much better. Again the dubbing is awful. Maybe I'm an idiot but I really tried to understand why what happened, happened and I still couldn't figure it out.

I never listen to dubs because they are often terrible; subtitles are much better for foreign films.

I started out Hellbound with the dubbing and had to change to subtitles, I just couldn't listen to it any more.

I am sure there will be a second season.

Death to 2021 - blah. I remember last year's Death to 2020 being kind of funny...this one was not. I might have giggled once and my husband fell asleep.

The Serpent - Yikes. Very creepy. Guy and his friend group murder people and take their identities. Apparently this was based on true events. I couldn't binge it all because it gave me the creeps. But finished it tonight. Recommend if you want to get the creeps and a nice reminder to never trust strangers.

We just binged all four episodes of Landscapers with Olivia Colman and David Thewlis. I thought it was awesome. The most creative way to tell a true story I've ever seen.

We just joined it this week because I HAD to watch the Harry Potter reunion, and found Landscapers while looking around HBO Max. Sorry for the confusion!!!!

Emily in Paris: Season 2: Much better than Season 1. Not only do we see the messy aftermath of the whole Emily/Gabrielle/Claudette affair, a lot of the other characters get their moment to shine in storylines independent of Emily and it ends on a cliffhanger. I also loved how unapologetically sexy Sylvie is; proof that sexiness is a state of mind and not age. I mean, she's married (but separated, her husband lives in another city), has a lover, and then had the gall to take another younger lover like, what kind of greed? And when the men found out about each other it was like "Oh, Syvlie's being Sylvie, ooh la la, French." If you're in the mood for something light and frothy check it out. I didn't watch Season 1 for the longest and was surprised at how much I liked it when I did.

The Power of the Dog
Outstanding acting. Amazing storyline.
Please watch this film it is very interesting.
BC may get a GG and/or Oscar for this performance.
Acting was phenomenal even the young man playing Peter.
Having just seen BC in Spiderman, this role was so unique yet outstanding and powerful.
DO NOT READ ANY SPOILERS. Just watch it.

I'm late to the party but finally got around to starting Lupin and I really like it so far! I loved the "gentleman thief" trope when I was a child so I'm finding it delightful.

Profile.
An undercover British journalist infiltrates the online propaganda channels of the so-called Islamic State, only to be sucked in by her recruiter.
Loosely based on a true story. It's very very intense, and fast. Everything is online, especially as they are on Skype. and it's hard to look away. Definitely on the edge of my seat. The ending terrified me..
