I thoroughly enjoyed Glass Onion including the ending.

Glass Onion - this was a blast! I've seen reviews where people didn't like the ending, but I was fine with it. Glad to hear this. I wanted to see it in the theaters but didn't make it. I loved Knives Out so I was hoping this one is good as well. Maybe I need to put it on my weekend viewing list.

We were going to watch it tonight, but it's Ukrainian Christmas eve, and we have been invited to a family dinner. ( more food!!) lol

Do I need to se Knives Out before I watch Glass Onion?

Do I need to se Knives Out before I watch Glass Onion? Even if you don't need to, you SHOULD! Knives Out is awesome!
ETA: The second season of Ginny & Georgia just dropped, but I'm re-watching season 1. It's been two years and, after watching the recap before the first episode of season 2, I realized I'd forgotten A LOT.

Do I need to se Knives Out before I watch Glass Onion? They are designed to be standalone (like Agatha Christie stories), so you don't need to watch one before the other. But I agree with Critical that you should definitely watch Knives Out regardless of the order in which you do.

Is it also on Netflix?

It was free on Prime Video, but now it's only VOD for, I think $3.99, from a bunch of different streaming services.

Do I need to se Knives Out before I watch Glass Onion? I saw both. Knives Out at the theater. Glass Onion on Netflix. While I liked both, I really liked Knives Out way more than Glass Onion. Gutmutter, see if you can find Knives Out.

ETA: Gutmutter - I literally just saw a commercial advertising that Knives Out is going to be on TNT tomorrow night! (1/8)

I hate this! I watched the first episode and it was intriguing, but I didn’t continue because I suspected Netflix would cancel it. I’m not even bothering with shows unless there’s a second season. This disposable content trend needs to stop. I agree. It is a real intriguing show but that is the end! I'm annoyed because I really liked it.

We normally like stuff like that but it seemed every time it got going, it stalled. I do agree, the acting was excellent and the film looked realistic for the time period.

Oh yeah, Netflix also canceled that show David Tennant was in. I think I'm not going to bother anymore unless a show is renewed. I've also noticed they tend to renew things that have social media quicker but Sandman had both the viewers and the buzz and they dragged their feet to announce it was being renewed.

Netflix seems so random with their cancellations/renewal announcements.
At least we are getting a second season of Wednesday. Yay!

I didn't even get a chance to watch it. At this point, why bother?

I don't know if that is solely on Netflix, didn't BBC1 cancel it, thus not giving any recourse for Netflix? Unless they wanted to take over production?

Last night, we watched The Hatchet Weilding Hitchhiker. I vaguely remember the guy. It was really interesting.

Alice in Borderland - finally finished. That last episode was a trip! I guess they could end it there, but I do hope there's more...
The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker - that guy needed help right from the beginning, but everyone just glommed onto him for media attention. Gross and sad.
The Pale Blue Eye - I'll watch anything Poe related and this was pretty good, if a bit too long. Well acted.

Regarding the Hitchhiker, I so agree, they right away saw a reality star and no one really looked into just who he was. I felt he was failed. And his mother! I think she is awful.

With this MURDAUGH trial just starting hubby and I decided to watch the 'docu' on Alex Murdaugh and his criminal family. SHOCKING how much Hampton County, SC looked the other way (as they had no choice) on all the illegal activity the Murdaugh's were involved in. Actually on the "docu" you will hear people state that Maggie Murdaugh would tell her two sons " you can do anything you want as you are Murdaugh's and nothing will happen to you" ..... ANYWAY the Netflix 3 part series is called LOW COUNTRY: The Murdaugh Dynasty. Very good docu but shocking the amount of criminal activity this family of 4 were involved in.

Boring right now as they are just diligently going over things like tire tracks made by the cars used by Paul, Maggie and AM the night of the murders. They are discussing gun casings from the two guns AM used .... (they did not say that part about AM, I did).

I am sorry. 😰 Do you have HBOMAX? You know we started looking at Netflix and realized the Netflix Murdaugh "docu" does not drop until 02/22/23 Then we found the one we did watch on HBOMAX.
