Has anyone else started Who is Erin Carter? I wasn't sure about it, but WOW. It is a roller coaster! I'm only two episodes in and I can't even begin to guess where it's going. Hubby and I have .... and I think we are 4 epi's in. Definitely a roller coaster. Is Erin some sort of undercover agent or what? She appears to be keeping allot of secrets from her husband. Wait until you continue watching .... it gets more and more crazy BUT we are liking it allot.

I do think there were some episodes that were a bit uneven, but I enjoyed it overall. Every time Jamie Bamber came on screen, I practically swooned. He's dreamy. I'd love to see a season 2 because, based on that final scene, he might have a bigger role in the next season.
I watched Love Again this afternoon. Prianka Chopra, Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in a romantic drama. Good, but not great. Sad - or maybe poignant is the word - to see Celine singing and looking, seemingly, healthy, when there was just the announcement about her condition not improving after her tour dates were canceled

We watched the documentary about the Boy Scouts, Scout's Honor. Wow, I knew things happened but this rampant! My son was in boy scouts for just a couple of years and his den was just a few other boys. The leaders were a husband and wife, but something went down and the husband left, so it was just the wife. WE would get together with the kids, us mothers and drink wine and gossip.... it was very casual. I do have a friend who's sons are in it and she is a den mother. I think a lot of parents handed over their kids in complete trust. And some kids came from troubled homes.... nefarious people take advantage of this. Then there is the cover up. And people think the Catholic church is bad!

The Recruit - started a while ago and restarted last night and just finished. WOW! A super intense spy thriller.
You have to major suspend your belief in a lot of stuff. I have yet to see any movie or TV show do a polygraph correctly. Never in the history of intelligence would anyone put an agency lawyer in the field on Day One of his job. That is a huge leap of disbelief to suspend but if you can get over that hump this is an intense, at times silly look at spying in the modern era.
There will be a season 2. Looking forward to it.

I just watched Love Again and I really liked it... a lot! I'm a huge fan of Sam Heughan (especially as Jamie in Outlander ) and I was totally prepared to dislike this film, but surprise, surprise, I found it to be delightful, and it even made me laugh out loud twice, and almost tear up a couple of times. Didn't matter that it was totally predictable! For me it's as much the journey as it is the result!

I enjoyed it too, although I do have to laugh at how they tried to make Sam freaking Heughan into kind of a dork. Have they SEEN him?
I do think they could have replaced Prianka with any other actress and it would have been just as good or better. I didn't think they had much chemistry, although I haven't seen her in anything where I thought she had chemistry with a love interest.

I watched Love at First Sight with Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy last night. It was adorable. Sweet and predictable, but I really enjoyed it. Fun to see Sally Phillips (aka Shazza from the Bridget Jones movies) playing Oliver's mom.The two leads were really charming and had nice chemistry, which is more than half the battle with rom coms.

I finally watched the final season of Sex Education and OMG, it was pretty much all I'd hoped for. It was such a satisfying ending to a really sweet show. Everyone on that show - especially the longtime cast members - are just excellent. I'm so happy that Ncuti Gatwa got Doctor Who. He's a star. He'd have these little nothing moments (at least as they were written) and he's turn them into A Moment. In s4e1, he's in his bedroom and is frustrated about something and does this thing where he bends his knees, but keeps the rest of his body straight, and just falls back onto the bed. It was delightful. I love what they did with his character this season and I loved how his friendship with Otis was tested.
I'll miss the show, but I'm glad they were able to give it a nice conclusion.

Finally finished Half Bad.
The title is so appropriate, it was half bad.
The series needed to edit some scenes they seriously dragged the story to such a glacial pace it almost went backwards. Cutting 5 to 10 minutes most episode would get rid of the teenage angst and stupidity and also some of the adult angst and stupidity.
People always freak out over prophecies and misinterpret them. Ha Ha on them. To be honest they were telegraphing the ending with 2 episodes to go maybe more.
Why is it the major fight scenes in the last two episodes were done in pitch darkness you could not see a thing.
Was the half sister wanting to kill Nathan and anyone else, drunk on her own power, and crazy a bit much? To the point you just wanted it to be over with a bullet to the head or an arrow or any blunt object.
The show had some fun moments.
I do wonder how Gabriel got his powers and the implication was he never saw his parents again and that they were dead.

Unfortunately, it's only two episodes and then we begin the long wait for season 6! OH REALLY.......boo. Just 2? Yup, I think it's just a two-part Christmas/holiday situation. IIRC, every other season has had 12 episodes and these two new ones will make it 12 for this season. At least more episodes are coming!

We watched an interesting murder mystery movie last night called REPTILE.
Has anyone seen this movie?
Justin Timberlake was meh in the movie.
Alicia Silverstone who I have not seen since 1995's Clueless. It was good seeing her.
THE BEST Benicio Del Toro.
Michael Pitt played Eli, I seriously have not seen him since Boardwalk Empire. Awesome acting playing a creep in this movie.

As someone who also lives with someone with a condition I can imagine how worried you are. Wishing you and Mr. FannyMare the best of outcomes.
Lupin is back and better than ever, I love my gentleman thief. The first episode of the new season was...something else.

ANY FoRT FANS planning on watching this??? Not tonight as we have Battlebots (and we are old and can't stay up that late) but I'm hoping my husband wants to watch this. We love horror/thriller but sometimes he is iffy on some series. I want to see for myself. I am also hearing GREAT things about it.

I wanted to see where the story went.

Maya and the Three
It is always fun to explore another cultures mythology. My main gripe about Maya and the Three in the first episode it states this is a story that happened before the Americas were discovered. So why is everyone using Spanish phrases and endearments? Why are there conquistadors fighting on the Big Bad's side? Why is one of the pre-colonial Mesoamaerican gods dressed like a pirate with a tricorn/"cocked" hat and cutlass?
The final battle in the last episode is too long.

The Fall of the House of Usher - this was so good! The way they overlapped all the Poe stories, the acting, the monologues...I especially loved Madeline's rant in the last episode. I will definitely watch this one again.

The Fall of the House of Usher is just steller! We enjoyed every minute of it. I loved how it gave the viewer the benefit of the doubt that we know Poe.
