It’s Restaurant Wars (Part 1) - In a massive twist, Padma's favorite challenge comes early, but the chefs must first duke it out in an amuse bouche-based Quickfire for Karen Akunowicz and Nina Compton. With twelve chefs remaining, three restaurants will be battling for victory.
Enjoy the show!

I'm bummed that it will be two parts. Things are not looking good for the teams.

I don't think this two-parter idea was very good either. Not a whole lot happened after watching a full episode of Top Chef. They're starting to make Restaurant Wars jump the shark by changing it too much.
If I had known sooner, I would have watched both parts next week and done something else with my time last night.

Basically yeah that and ditto to all. Not like I am going to remember who is on what team, let alone what they are cooking, next week.

Okay, I'll wait and watch it all together next week. Knowing how I fee about restaurant wars, I'll probably FF through a lot of it...I'll see.

The good news is that even though there was no elimination this week, there still is a new Last Chance Kitchen. They narrow the field from three to two chefs.

This is the first season in which I don't hate a chef by now.

I do agree with that. I still haven't watched the first part of Restaurant Wars and the second part is on tomorrow night. Looks like a tiny binge for me.

I hope you can watch it On Demand -- I just checked Bravo's listings for Thursday. They are showing a Million Dollar Listing/LA marathon all day leading up to the new Part 2 episode of Restaurant Wars, which is airing an hour earlier than usual at 8PM ET, because Million Dollar Listing/LA has a 2-hour season premiere at 9. Bravo sucks.

Bravo sucks. Hey now. Bravo isn't so bad. At least it is never interrupted by sports programming. I have given up on ever putting anything CBS in my DVR because of so many shows that I recorded where I only ended up with the first 10-20 minutes preceded by whatever. Their shows never seem to start on time. Just having new episodes of anything through the holidays is a blessing in my book.

My DVR picked up the show in the 8 PM slot, so I'm all set for a marathon either this evening or tomorrow.

I'm so happy it starts at 8pm tonight! I'm trying to delay eating dinner so I don't try and eat everything in sight when it's on.
