I didn't see a mention of some of the shows on the I.D. channel, unless I missed it. Does anyone watch some of them?

I like a lot of them!
"Deadly Women" is very good. I also like "I am Homocide" but I think that's on hiatus. "Deadly Sins" is also good but tends to come on at 3am. There's also the show that won an award that reenacted historical crime cases, but I can't remember the name of it.

I think it's called "A Crime to Remember"... if I am thinking of the show you're referencing. I tend to watch a lot of shows on ID. It's one of those channels I always have on the background when I am doing things.

ID is one I go to when there isn't much on. I haven't seen the one show Web of Lies on in awhile. Is it off?

Libgirl2, Web of Lies is on hiatus, but sometimes they show old episodes late afternoon during the week.

Tonight at 9:00 ET on ID Discovery they're premiering a new mini series called "The Lake Erie Murders" where they'll be featuring different crimes that occurred in either Canada, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania or Ohio. The first series they're airing "Who Killed Amy Mihaljevic?" is a 3-hour investigation into the murder of a 10-year old girl who was abducted from Northeast Ohio back in 1989.

Does anyone like Disappeared?

Does anyone like Disappeared? I watched it one time (twice, one the same day? It was years ago, I don't remember). I hated it. I understand those poor people are suffering though not knowing where their loved ones are, but it was just too depressing for me to watch. I have never watched it after that day.

I watch Disappeared. I wish there were more updates at the end of the show. I hate not knowing what happened. Awful, I can't imagine how the families feel.

They update cases online at the site. They should have updated episodes of cases that have had a conclusion since being aired though.

I usually always have this channel on in the background when I am working from home. The Murder Calls show and See No Evil are super creepy. But I still watch.

Does anyone like Disappeared? I watched a few episodes but (at least the ones I've seen) the person wasn't found. I didn't care for the 'no closure' aspect of the series. I was left wanting to know what happened, so I quit watching. The series didn't keep my interest very long.

I watched Disappeared a few times but I don't like that they don't find the person and there is no updates on the cases

I have my DVR set to record "See No Evil" whenever it comes on. British shows often feature CCTV as a primary method of gathering info on crimes. Now, with "See No Evil," we're seeing how American police departments are doing it, too.
Apparently, criminals still haven't learned how many stores have CCTV cameras. These idiots run straight to Walmart or Home Depot to buy shovels, tarps, etc., so they can bury their victims. And we see them on the overhead cameras buying the stuff - usually with a credit card!!!

I'm late to the party here, but I grew up in the community where Amy was kidnapped. I thought they did a great job of telling her story and depicting things as they happened. It was devastating back when it happened, and the way told the story brought back a lot of the heartbreak. I appreciated that they did it in a way that showed a lot of respect to her family and those who were most impacted by what happend.

A rather ridiculous story on this past week's Betrayed, I started to zone out. She moved into the same house as her female lover and the husband? This was the same household who had kids that were previously harassing her own kids?

I hadn't heard of an au pair before the recent episode of Betrayed. Is it common to hire a live in nanny from outside the country instead of just hiring someone here?

Our cable company dropped ID My husband said if they do away with National Geo channel he is done. I think we might be done sooner rather than later but just haven't had the time to do anything.

I hadn't heard of an au pair before the recent episode of Betrayed. Is it common to hire a live in nanny from outside the country instead of just hiring someone here? It is if you want to be cheap, or want someone young from the "old country." Unfortunately, abuse runs rampant and it's not just husbands expecting sexual favors either. Au Pairs are more likely to be underpaid for the amount of hours they work, told one thing at the agency, then get to the home and find out they have no time off and are sleeping in a closet, etc.
I started watching that episode about the au pair but fell asleep in the middle and woke up at the end (when hubby was getting arrested). I'll have to watch iit again because it was good.

I had totally forgotten that a new season of Breaking Homicide with Derrick Levasseur had started. Now I'm playing catch-up...too many good shows and not enough time to watch!

I've been watching Derrick's show. It's pretty good. I miss Disappeared, there has not been a new one in a long time, that I'm aware of. I love ID. I recently watched all the episodes of that show about bad neighbors, as well as every episode of the Lake Erie Murders. Good stuff, if a bit dark.
I loved the special they did called Village of the Damned. I'm stuck inside because of the heat, so maybe I will watch it again.

I watched an absolutely crazy show where this guy was engaged, but having an affair with another woman. When the families announced the engagement the mistress ran over him several times in her car, killing him. I felt really awful for the fiancee, who said that if she had broken up with him when she found out about the mistress he would still be alive. Didn't feel too bad for the fiance or the mistress as sometimes we are our own worst enemies.
edit: It was Primal Instinct!
