I finished off the last of a chub of Impossible breakfast sausage ( AMAZING) and made a scramble with eggs, mushrooms, spinach and a little mozzarella. Roasted the last of the baby potatoes. Yay for not wasting food! (apparently, I'm embracing the food waste bin situation in CA )

Yum! Do you make the jambalaya from scratch or do you have a good kit that you buy? From scratch. And I went a little too heavy on the spice this time. Oof.

I'm wondering how that would work for a large contained complex.

We went to a hole in the wall place and ordered Mexico City style of street tacos to go. Al pastor and steak..with cilantro and lime and spicy avocado salsa. Delish..

Stir fry chicken with pea pods over rice. We're getting a break from broccoli and moving on to the peas!

Not so healthy tonight: a pepperoni calzone from the Italian place down the street. It's too hot to cook.

Work dinner was a store bought chicken bacon Ceasar sandwich on sourdough...really good. I used to always go to the market next to my work but their prepared foods are bland and their prices have really gone up. You used to be able to get two slices of pizza plus a water or soda for $5...now it's 7.99 and no beverage.

Kind of a burrito bowl/salad thing. Chicken, rice with lime juice, corn, black beans, salsa, light sour cream, avocado and a little shredded cheese all over a bed of baby greens.
I accidentally ordered southwestern-flavored chicken strips instead of "regular" ones, so this is what I'll be eating for dinner until the chicken is gone!

Was planning on pork chops, but we were running late after appointments, so we stopped at this storefront seafood place on the way home. Had seen it advertised but never could find it as it was tucked out of the way. There were 2 little tables outside where we ate lobster rolls and French fries. I had Maine style and hubby had Connecticut style, which is warm with butter.😋

That sounds yummy, Eastcoastmom! What's Maine style? Is it cold? I hope you still got to have butter.

It's dressed with a little bit of mayonnaise to bind and sometimes tarragon. Some places add diced celery, but this place didn't. There were huge chunks of lobster 🦞 meat and hubby was impressed.

Going out to supper tonight for our anniversary. This restaurant serves just about anyhting you'd want. Right now, seafood sounds pretty good to me.
