For tonight we needed enough food for 5 which includes our daughter and her husband who are arriving after dinner but will be hungry after a road trip. So I made a pizza - mushrooms and sausage then grilled chicken breasts and a smoked sausage - a very weird meal and not very balanced but we've been eating loads of salads and vegetables so I'm not too worried.
For tomorrow I prepared pear, sausage and leek stuffing. I'll bake it tomorrow. We're having a slow roasted turkey, green bean casserole made with fresh ingredients (no Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup!), mashed potatoes and gravy. My daughter is providing the green bean dish, two pies and the bread.

I'm too busy to cook right now, so I did my current favorite little breakfast sandwich - Impossible sausage molded into a patty, scrambled eggs with dill and Swiss cheese melted on top, all on a brioche bun with honey mustard. It's a winner!
I like turkey for Thanksgiving, but I just DO NOT have the time to prepare and roast a turkey tomorrow. I've got a spiral cut ham and some easy sides just waiting for me. Much easier!

OMG, I'm stuffed! I had so much to do to get ready for my big art show this weekend (set up starts tomorrow at 7am), that I didn't pay attention to the time. I ended up eating around 8pm. I had the spiral cut ham, Brussels sprouts, baked beans, scalloped potatoes and then pumpkin pie. I think cherry or apple would probably have "fit" better with that meal, but I had to have pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.
I'm going to be eating ham for weeks! I'll be freezing some of it for later too. I'm happy to be able to make quick ham sandwiches to take for lunch at the show this weekend. Then it's ham and eggs, breakfast burritos with ham, potatoes and eggs, bean soup and anything else I can make with ham!

We had "leftover sandwiches." Turkey, warmed dressing, cranberry sauce and cream cheese.
Don't knock it unless you've tried it.

AZChristian, that sandwich sounds pretty good! We had leftovers again, too, which was wonderful as I feel like being lazy tonight.

Tomato soup with chicken meatballs. Not sure how it will taste but I'll find out soon! The meatballs are from Costco and contain cranberries and a few jalapeno peppers so they are mildly spicy and a bit sweet. I made the soup base a few months ago with a few peppers as well so it also has some heat. I love having soup in the freezer when I'm not motivated to cook much!
I did make dessert, which is rare in our house. We're having gluten free brownies in honor of National Brownie Day!

Curious…what does a grandma pizza consist of? It's a super thin, square pizza cut into rectangular slices. Very little mozzarella cheese, and lots of fresh basil on top. Apparently from reading Wikipedia, it's common only here on Long Island, which I didn't know. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandma_pizza
