Temptation Island was everything! It was so good! I'm so excited that it is back. They are also bringing back Paradise Hotel.

I loved this show back in the day and I watched half of the new one the other night. Not sure yet if I will continue watching yet...it seems like my likes have changed some.

I wish they would re-air the original Temptation Island. I used to video my updates on it for my then live-in boyfriend as he worked for his Master's. I also wish I had those videos too.

I can't recall their names, but that one couple that argued all the time were so immature. She was horrible, and even though the singles were catty to her, she kind of deserved it. There's no way the two of them make it, right?

I know she has some trust issues but seems to me that's just who she is.. I think this block necklace is silly. They can still spend all day together if they choose, they just can't go out on solo dates. |

Shari was so messy; she was the only woman who had nasty things to say about the singles (which she did loudly, to their faces). It didn't surprise me that she was met with hostility, or that one of the male suitors asked her exactly what she meant by that "I'm not impressed" remark.
That marriage-driven woman needs to get a grip. Pressuring someone into marrying you is not a good look, and due to what happened with his parents I don't blame him for being marriage-shy. Either accept the fact that he doesn't want to get married, or move on. Also? Having your parents exert pressure on your bf regarding marriage is a crappy thing to do.
The other two couples seem somewhat normal.

OMG! LOVE this show and it reminds me of how much I loved it then. The relationship guys are hilarious. I mean, they have no game. They are meant to be in relationships. I love Javen who is so afraid of his girlfriend that he ran away from the women! And he kept saying 'don't touch me!'.

Katheryn jumping from one guy to the other and then poor Evan took the bait which then spiraled into drama. I found the whole thing hilarious how upset Morgan and the girls got about this. One minute Morgan is ranting that she is upset because they are bff's and she knew she liked them, then the other minute she changes it and says its because he has a date with someone else tomorrow and she was trying to protect her. Then he wakes up Brittney who could care less.  I can't get enough! |

And of course Shari bursts into tears on bonfire night seeing someone tell Javan that they are attracted to him and touched his arm. She is ridiculous and needs to break up with him ASAP, as it's obvious she doesn't trust him one bit.
Speaking of ridiculous, the three way girlfight over Evan was just silly and made everyone uncomfortable.
Someone needs to tell John's GF that Alpha Males are generally not good father material, because I don't think she got the memo. He was so hurt by her clip at bonfire. Someone should also tell him that it's generally not a good idea to tell a woman that she's your second choice.
I think the Cuban guy gave the marriage-crazy girl some good advice. I hope she takes it.
All of these people are messy and I can't wait until next week's episode!

I have got to say I am so excited this show is back on the air! I like trying to guess which couples will stay together at the end and at this time (I am only 2 shows in), I feel like Evan and Kasey have potential to stay together.
Kasey (marriage crazy girl) is on the Reality Steve podcast every week for a couple minutes recapping the past episode. It is pretty interesting hearing her take on things (he is not spoiled on the show nor does he want to be so there are no spoilers on Temptation island).

Rachel looks like a high school student! And John is ten years older than she is, though he seems younger too. I don't tend to like Kady and how she talks about John, and it really bothered him that she said he might not make a good dad. That's harsh.
Kaci talking about how she might have to move on, cut Evan out if he cheats, was completely NOT convincing. "It's not what I deserve." Suuuure, Kaci! And sure enough, Evan's already developing a crush on Morgan. Why he asked her out in the first place, was confusing, though. I'm thinking he's kind of a mess.
I'm sure all these dates just love talking about the girl/boyfriends! The show probably prompts them, I understand, but it must be awkward. I wouldn't want to hear about the other girl while on my date.
I liked Jack, the guy who wrote a poem -- he was persistent, but cute about it. Nicole isn't very likable right now, in my opinion, so I hope he doesn't get too attached. He seems sweet.
Uh oh, the second bonfire. Karl's fine with Nicole and Jack. Javen watching Shari complaining about him and saying she's lost her personality in their relationship. John was okay watching this week's clip, but he's still bothered about her "dad" comment because his dad killed himself five years ago. Poor guy. Evan has to watch the cheater conversation Kaci had with her date, and Evan tries to say he's not a cheater anymore. Uh huh. Old news, he said. Previews indicate there's not much truth to that!!

That made me so angry and she's another one that needs to be dumped. John seems like a genuinely nice guy, and he needs to be with a woman who appreciates that because it's so obvious she doesn't. Being with someone and constantly berating them because they don't match the image of the perfect partner in your eyes is crappy at best, abusive at worse.
