Carne! - Lena Waithe surprises the chefs by challenging them to make the trademark Kentucky dish, the Hot Brown. Then, Nancy Silverton brings her internationally renowned friend, Dario Cecchini to break down a whole cow for the chefs to utilize along with locally-sourced Kentucky ingredients.
There will be a lot of hacking going on tonight!
Enjoy the show!

All of the beef dishes looked disappointing and small.

Yeah I was as shocked as the judges at how much these chefs overthought the challenge. How does turning a cow into baby food tartare honor it?
I'm OK with Brandon going, since I never found him to be particularly warm or charming, lol.

I am quite pleased with who won the Quickfire Challenge and who was sent home.

I was rooting for Brandon to win but pretty much knew he hadn't from his rather lackadaisical enthusiasm in promoting the show.

I still don't really have a favorite this season oddly enough. Nonetheless I think the result made sense. Good luck to Brandon in LCK.
