My first thought when I saw the news was wondering whether Jax waited until they were filming. Lo and behold, Brittany confirms in her instagram announcement that it was in fact right at the start of filming! ‘What a way to start our summer and season 7.’ Huh? Why even mention the show? Probably because it’s all about the show. 🙄 |

I always feel like they set up failure and redemption stories from season to season. Both Lala and James have had their season of being persona non grata one season, and then come back with a better image and better liked by everyone the next. Kristen and Stassi have also been pushed away from the pack and then accepted back in. They worked so hard last season to make Jax the villian that it seemed clear that the following season would be his redemption story. Not to mention that since Lisa fired him, for the period of time she sticks to that, Jax needs to be attached to Brittany to secure his reason for being on the show.
It would not surprise me if Schenna is also portrayed in the next season as embracing being single and standing on her own.

Well one things for sure, she knows he a cheat! So she can't say anything, it's all recorded. In a way,I think ( for now) she likes the too and fro. He cheats, she has everyone on her side, she calls Jax every name under the sun, he moves out, he chases her,she stays mad for awhile then they have a lot of make up sex.Is this toxic? Absolutely, will she get tired of it, yes, they both will.They seem suited. |

I look at recent photos and see a different Jax, in that he appears genuinely happy. To his credit, we've been watching him work on himself --- his real self-destructive self --- and not just towards acquiring the perfect body and perfect nose.

I just started watching this show and had a tough time getting into it. There wasn't anyone in the first episode that was likeable at all. lol I am familiar with Faith from a different show and heard that she shows up on this show eventually. She is annoying also and keeps chirping like a bird for some reason.

I'd love to pop in! That would be great, if you pop in, Fanny Mare. Then you can report back and give us the scoop. I'm really curious to know if TomTom will feel different from any other young people's bar/club in the West Hollywood/Melrose area. And even though Sandoval and Schwartz are (5%) owners of TomTom, do we know if they will be also working at the bar? Sandoval's a bartender, so if he's bartending, that would make sense, but now that I think of it, what does Schwartz do? He's not a bartender, is he? |

I watched the premiere last night. I want to be happy for Jax and Brittany, but I don't know if Jex will change. He said his father's death led him to propose. I hope it wasn't a temporary emotion. I am sick of Scheana. From the previews, it looks like she will be trying to sing again this season. I didn't know Shwartz had a background in cocktails. I haven't seen every season.

The jeweler said the ring was worth 70k, not that Jax paid 70k.
I think Jax has worked hard on himself for quite a while and that he's changed. However, enough of a change? Time will tell ...

I agree. I think that Jax has changed the way he presents himself, not his actual life. The way he was barking demands at the people working in the restaurant before the proposal showed a lot about how he views other people, and what it showed me was that he views them as a means to an end.
