Is anyone watching this train wreck? I started at season 2, which started recently. Each week gets worse. It's about men and women in prison finally being released and meeting the people with whom they've been romantically involved. The folks who produce 90 day fiance produce this show too, so there are alot of similarities.

I saw the previews and decided that is not a show that I want to watch. As you say it looks like a train wreck to me.

Well, since 90-Day Fiance is over for the season, I've switched over to this, and I'm embarrassed to say we really love it. A definite train wreck.

I have wondered why so many people become pen pals and enter into relationships with violent convicts. I would think that low self esteem plays a part of it, but I guess there are various other things going on as well with some.

I have wondered why so many people become pen pals and enter into relationships with violent convicts. I would think that low self esteem plays a part of it, but I guess there are various other things going on as well with some. I'm watching the show too, and enjoying it. I started at the very beginning, kind of as a lark, and cause there wasn't anything else on that I wanted to watch. But by the end of the 1st episode I was so glad it was a series following the same people, cause I wasn't 'hooked' exactly, but I was curious to see what happened to them next. And with each episode I've gotten more drawn in. It's so interesting how at first, all of the couples seemed like almost normal couples who were newly in love and very excited and hopeful about the future. But little by little, their real personalities (flaws and all) began to show, and the relationships began to unravel. And you were right, lonnie, when you mentioned the low esteem of so many of the characters, especially the partners who were NOT in jail. So sad, really. I'm actually rooting for all of them to make it work and finally have a 'normal' life outside of prison. But it's not looking too hopeful right now.

As this season progresses, I keep thinking this can't be real, it's has to be staged. But then I think the people on the show are too stupid to be good actors. I keep shaking my head for the whole hour this is on.

This awful train wreck ended. Some of the people who had been released from prison are back in prison. Micheal - who was stringing along a wife and girlfriend - is back in prison. Unfortunately, he got his wife pregnant in the short time he was free. Matt - who was engaged to Caitlyn, seemed to be more comfortable with prison life. He was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. Thankfully, his fiancee/girlfriend broke up with him.
Then there's Clint and Traci - Traci was addicted when she got out of prison still seems to be addicted. Clint stays by her, but he may also have addiction issues.
Scott and Lizzie also broke up after Lizzie found out Scott is broke. Shocker!

Tracy has been arrested for drugs. Poor thing, her addiction is a struggle. I think Clint is using too, but he has not been arrested. I was hoping Tracy would make it.

Tracy has died at 41. She just delivered a baby the week before her death. I’m so sorry for everyone who knew her. May she Rest In Peace.
