I'm sorry but Nene needs to grow up. I've always tolerated and even liked her at times. She's been funny and someone that I've found interesting to watch on a "character" level. But when she told Gregg to stay back and not go up to the mic when Cynthia called him ...that went over the line for me. Who is she to tell him no? I'm sure he caught a lot of crap for how he greeted Kenya at the party too. Everyone was so excited to see him and Cynthia wanted to celebrate him. Nene couldn't get over herself for one minute to let Gregg enjoy some love.  And her comments to Kenya?  Pregnant women and their body is off the table. Beyond low. And FAR from funny. I'm starting to wonder if Nene has taken to drugs or pills or something. She's always been over the top but this is too much. I don't agree that Cynthia (and Kandi) should be lying about it though. I understand they want to avoid the wrath of Nene but please stop kissing her butt and just be honest. "Kenya is my friend and you don't get to dictate who I get to invite to my party and no I don't need to tell you in advance. If you don't like that...oh well." I understand that people are trying to be sensitive to Nene right now because of Gregg's illness but Nene is literally treating her friends in the same way that she is accusing Gregg of treating her. You aren't allowed to treat your friends badly just because you are having a hard time. Period. |

After the show, on instagram, Nene got a lot of backlash. She was trying to keep the focus on her while a rapper named Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed. People were upset that she wasn't talking about that or expressing sympathy for his family. She was just focusing on how on herself. Years ago, Nene had an ego but she was also funny. Now she has a bigger ego and is mean.

Oh Punkin I am so sorry for your loss.
I'm just over the prime focus and spotlight constantly having to be on Nene. She really needs to get over herself. She divorced Greg, if he were that awful why on earth did she remarry him??? Who gives a rat's a$$ that Kenya was at Cynthia's event and why should Cynthia be made to feel awful because she invited a friend to help her celebrate? All of this over a twitter post...sheesh!
I mean this cancer, for lack of a better adjective, story line is really hitting a raw nerve with me. My son's father in law was diagnosed 2 months ago with stage 4 lung cancer which had spread to his spine. His family was devastated however instead of tearing everyone apart we were all reworking schedules in order to drive him back and forth to his chemo & radiation therapies. 3 weeks ago, not wanting to burden anyone nor saddle his family with astronomical costs, he took his life. Everyone is now left to deal with emotional and and loss of his doing this. His family was just getting to grips with knowing he was terminal and then he did the unthinkable.
So no I have to sympathy or empathy for Nene Leakes. I do offer healing prayers for Gregg but not for this selfish woman.

It seems that no one is watching Kim Zolciak Bierman's Don't be Tardy for the Party show on Bravo, but I do. I liked Kim when she was on RHoA and so I've watched her family show ever since she left there. She and her somewhat younger husband Kroy, former Atlanta football player, have had 4 children together and have her two older daughters for their large family. They are a very loving, friendly, funny family with a quirky cute cook and Hispanic housekeeper. I just like them. Kim and her oldest daughter have gone overboard with the lip fillers (and Kim looks sooooo diferent than her earlier years on RHoA, but all three women are gorgeous. Her husband Kroy is anyone's dream of a husband. (It's curious to me and unexplained on the show, but both Kim and Kroy are estranged from their families. So all their kids don't have relationships with their grandparents. I'd love to know why.)
I like seeing happy, loving families with engaging family storylines. This is one.

Hiiiiiii Punkin The reason I have had no desire to watch this show is while I never watched KIM back back back when she was on RHoA .... but I watched her when she returned to RHoA (I think) 2 years ago and she was OUT OF CONTROL. I said to myself "who is this loud, out of control, screaming, swearing, ready to beat the crap out of any of the ladies, PERSON"  .... then reading the RHoA thread here all FoRT FANS where saying OMG KIM IS BACK. I then realized she was on the show at an earlier time and was just as WILD back then as I saw on Season 9 or 10. THAT was enough for me. |

Kar, she is a completely different woman when isolated in her loving family and household. She's loud, profane and confrontational when around Nene. I loved that! Nobody could get under Nene's skin like Kim!

Nene was on Daily Pop. She says she asked the Bravo executives in NYC to change the ending of the season finale to show that Cynthia set her up and lied about Kenya. She says the show usually shows her to be the villain, and had to beg Bravo to let her have a sit down with Cynthia at the season finale, which was different from the usually housewives season finale ending. She said she sees no future with Cynthia and sees her cast-mates as co-workers and not friends. She will not invest in them. She says she is only cool with Shamari, but is friends with Marlo.

If Nene has no intentions of being friendly/friends with the other women, there’s no place for her on the show (much like LVP on BH.)
Her whole personality and the way she carries herself bugs me. Again last night mocking and muttering a blimp joke about Porsha under her breath. Where on earth does she get off doing that?
I feel the love affair between her and Andy is waning as well.

Nene was a guest on The Talk yesterday. I thought her behavior was atrocious with eye rolling and hair flipping to make a point. She stated several times that RHOA is HER show because she is the only current housewife who has been on from the very beginning. (No mention made of the seasons she was absent.) She did let us know that Hubby Gregg is doing much better after six months of chemo, and she appeared much less tense about their relationship than seen recently on the show. Perhaps with his crisis over, their relationship has improved.
