There's a show on A&E about a woman with multiple personalities. Has anyone seen it yet?

I watched it and not sure what to think of it. I know there is a lot of stigma attached to this kind of disorder. Life is hard enough, I can't imagine having numerous personalities inside my head.

I recorded it, but haven't gotten the courage to watch it yet. Did it seem real, or put on? I'm so disturbed by this kind of thing, so I am not sure I can endure it! It's fascinating to me, though, so we'll see.

There are certain things that just shouldn't be viewed for entertainment and this is one of them; it reminds me of when people used to pay to see the mentally ill in Bedlam, only now we're doing it through a TV/computer screen. Hard pass.

Hard pass. I don't disagree with you, Kao, but to me, the topics that shouldn't be viewed for entertainment include all types of evil, violence, murder, torture, and all of the other horrible, malicious, demented sides of life. I'd rather see a story about a legitimate illness than any of those.
