Steve looks so bored with Vicki. I think it will be a good season. I hope Eddie will be okay, and back to good health, he's a good guy. I like Emily, she seems down to earth, of course that could change.. Shannon is doing much better since this season started, lost more weight, and looks good.
I like Eddie too but does he think it wise to go on vacation in Mexico less than 2 weeks after the surgery and get wasted? My heart surgery wasn't nearly as serious. I was told no caffeine or alcohol for at least 6 weeks post surgery.
Looks like Tamra and Eddie have real things going on; nice to see they care about one another and she’s not all Jesus about it. And moving to a new house - who in their family plays the piano or is it just pretend?
Icky begging her live-in to marry her is pathetic. His body language says he’s bored, not much interested in her. Wonder if he’s only interested in the show and his paycheck?
Vicki is really looking old. She was so nervous talking to Eddie, and all those quotes from the Bible. I still like Emily, and I like her husband. Kelly is in excellent shape, I agree with her, I wouldn't want my friend double dating my ex! I understand she doesn't want him, we get that yelling Vicki, but that's not the point. Give her time, the same goes for Shannon..she needs time. Whatever does Shannon take in her suitcases??
Looks like drunk, is very much on the menu next week.
I THINK that when Tamara was on WWHL last week, she said that Eddie's heart issues are still on-going. That's scary - not just that he's facing it, but also that he's got a job that demands so much of his heart. I did laugh at the way that things were set up last night -- Vicki goes directly from making peace with Eddie and Tamara over to Kelly where things blow up with her, likely creating a divide all season. No producer involvement there! I think that the fight between Kelly and Vicki showed what we've likely known all along - Kelly says what she wants people to believe and not what she actually feels. She's been saying nasty things about Michael trying to convince herself that she's better without him, but the way she reacted to his moving on certainly does hint that she doesn't genuinely feel that way. It's sad, because it makes it hard for people to really support her when she can't be honest with them or herself. At first intro, I think I like the two new housewives. Tamara's friend who is married to the Mormon man reminded me of a lower-key version of Alexis Bellino ... but her husband seemed a lot more down to earth than Jim! The other woman who struggles to keep her kids in check looked so much like Brianna to me at first that I thought they'd cast her after all. I wonder if they did that on purpose.
Vicky's apology was like that of a petulant 5 year old. It was beyond pathetic. I think I am pretty much over RHOC. Begging for a proposal from her boyfriend..when are you going to let me retire Steve...this house is so much for 1 person. Vicky, in all kindness, GROW UP! You have more money that you will ever need so if you want to retire then RETIRE. House is too big for you the SELL IT.
Same ole, same ole. Vicki apologizing, screaming she just wants her friends back & then doing something snarky like going out on double dates with Kelly's ex and not telling her.
Marriages and divorces are complicated and it's not odd that Kelly would both want a divorce but still have residual feelings right now. But for God's sake any one would want to at least know about the double dates AND Icky keeping a friendship up the ex. Kelly should freeze Icky out. Things seem fine regarding custody right now but what if Icky starts dropping little tales of Kelly's life that can be used later against her?? And we know Icky would do that, act all innocent, beg for forgiveness and start all over again. BTW, she looks like hell, weight gain, too much surgery, bad skin. The news ones to me are a snooze fest. BTW, the LI gal is working/middle class from the south shore. Her accent is going to be stronger than most Long Islanders.
So agree! Brianna needed to really leave home, not just move, cut some of the ties with ICKY and focus on her own life. She looks better than she has in years and looks like she has lost some of that major extra weight she has been carrying around for years(ICKY??)
I really wish Shannon would leave. I don't really consider her one of the originals or anything, and she bugs the hell out of me. Since they've practically cleaned house anyway, why not start over with a brand new cast! Now there's an idea!
Shannon annoys me because of all of them, she is the most dependent and clingy. Cannot stand clingy, dependent, desperate women. And, please, woman, cut that hair.
I don't see her that way at all. In fact I think she actually has a steely strength. But she was/is a woman who loved her husband deeply and was crushed when she finally had to accept the fact that he didn't love her. It was sad to see it played out on tv but just because someone is devastated by losing someone u love( having an affair also makes it worse) doesn't mean, IMO , that she was dependent or desperate. Did it take her too long? Maybe but I have know other women who took about the same amount of time, so who knows. I hope she finds someone who truly loves her. BTW my definition of desperate in ICKY
Great comparison of Vicki and Shannon in terms of clingy QueenB! I can understand why people would label Shannon as desperate and clingy. But as you pointed out, we're seeing her in a snapshot of her life when she was going through something pretty devastating. When you have put your trust and faith into a person and discover they don't return the same to you, it's going to knock a tough person down. It was frustrating to see Shannon go through all of that, but as viewers, we were seeing a guy in David who didn't look great from the start. It made it easy to accept that he was a jerk, because we didn't have the history of him being a good man which Shannon did. But you're right - since they split, she's been on her own and building her new life. She's wanted to be around people, but I think that's quite normal. Any mom of three teen daughters needs someone to vent to! I don't think she's making a choice to avoid dating, but she's also not obsessively searching for a man to jump into a new relationship with. Vicki did exactly that ... well, Vicki may have likely searched for a man to jump to even before ending things with Donn. Kelly has also been a little obsessive in finding a new man. Shannon can stand on her own. She may even be wise enough to know that if she does stand on her own, she'll be better in a relationship once she finds the right person because she'll be choosing to be with someone instead of feeling like she needs to be with him.
