Teresa/Joe/Melissa with the family on Easter was so touching. I feel so bad for the girls. They want their Daddy home and have been through so much.

I feel sorry for the youngest one. The others seem to know what's going on. It wouldnt surprise me in the least, if one or two of them don't end up living with their father. Teresa's dad is in rough shape, was he drinking hot sauce from the bottle? What alternative universe are we in, when Joe G makes so much sense..although when he kept saying let him go( like they have a choice) it sounded like he was dying.
I dislike Danielle, but next week she grabs Marge's extensions. Marty really is PW'd

I agree. It did sound like they were talking like he was going to die if he got deported. Melissa even said "I grew up without a father.." ...big difference between a dad dying and a dad being deported. I admit I did tear up during their Easter dinner scene.

I have been so impressed this season, and so touched, by the way that Joe has stepped up to be the strength for their family so that everyone else can have their moments of weakness. He's done a lot of things that I've been impressed with, but I think that perhaps his greatest hit was the conversation this week with Gia. The two of them have always had such a sweet bond, even when Teresa and Joe were at odds. The way that he talked to her about letting go - the way he focused on how her dad is suffering and helped her to look at the situation not just for herself but through her love with him was fabulous. She's at an age now where she's ready to look at the work with that kind of maturity. He had enough respect for her to pull her up like that. It was heartbreaking to watch him helping her along like that, but it was so special.
I wish Bravo would recognize how compelling it is to tell stories like that which are truly real life. Granted, what they are going through is hyper-real life, and not all storylines are quite as compelling. But just showing what they are going through is some of the best Housweives TV there has been in a while. You don't have to get a bunch of women drunk and provoke fights among them to make great tv.

There had to be a specific reason she was so checked out on keeping Joe here. She doesn’t care enough about herself for it to just be the way he treated her. It had to be a specific person who could take care of her.

Thanks, acookertv! You've said exactly what I was thinking as I was watching this last episode! For me, this whole season has been very touching in general, but this last episode was one of the best episodes EVER, of all of the franchises. Very, very little bickering/fighting, and many, many touching moments. I loved it! I truly wish the RH decision-makers would go back to more of this, and less of the horrible behavior that most of the HWs demonstrate! I want the shows to be FUN again, and I don't want to have to groan (to myself) when I think about watching them. In fact, I've stopped watching a lot of these kinds of shows because I'm sick to death of all the fighting!

Regarding the fighting the housewives do, the latest episode with the women fighting in a high-end boutique, dumping contents of a purse in coffee, knocking things over, hair pulling, etc. was just atrocious. I felt so badly for the owner who obviously was shocked at their behavior. When these women are under the influence of alcohol, as they are at every gathering, all hell breaks loose. I often wonder how they feel the next day or when they actually see the footage. Shame on them!

I did see a candle worth $675.00..( gulp) the other women in the store looked horrified as well, and left..smh.

I wish Joe G wasn't so course, his wife says she wants a banana split, out loud he says, he would slip her a banana later. Yet he has a conniption when his daughter watches a sex ed video. What century is he in..?.. Gia speaking to her mother like that, my mother would never have taken that, and I wouldn't have from my daughter. Anyway, take it outside, so common. Teresa give up the tight tight jean's paired with ugly high heels. Tacky. Your girls, at least two of them, will probably end up living in Italy I hated what Danielle was wearing in that store, she is so strange looking( creepy) The reason she is with Marty, is she has nowhere else to go. That poor store owner, and Teresa stands by Danielle, says a lot imnsho.

I thought it was interesting to see the contrast between Margaret and Danielle in the "cool off" after that fight. Margaret seemed to snap back into reality and feel some guilt for what she'd done - not to Danielle, but to the store. She went to the owner and seemed to apologize and give him her credit card to own up to what she did. On the flip side, Danielle (who granted probably knew him better than Margaret) went to him to be consoled ... she seemed to approach it as a "Did you just see the terrible thing that happened to me, oh take care of me, it was terrible!" Accountable vs victim. Margaret does get way too locked in to being right in a moment like that, and it's a problem for her. But I do like that she can at least see the error of her ways and own it.

Teresa is a pushover when it comes to her kids...they run her, period. I wasn't shocked on how Gia was talking to her. They all seem like entitled brats.
Omg at the fight at the store!! Jersey sure shows us drama, lol!

This was one case where I thought that Gia was totally justified in the way she talked to Teresa. IMO, Gia was the grown up on that conversation. She was having a special moment in her life, made better by her dad calling while it was going on. He's in a tough spot and was lashing out, and instead of understanding that (like Gia did) Teresa decided to take it personally and make it all about her. It sucked out all the fun for Gia, which was a shame. Most of the time, I do accept those close to her saying Teresa is a great mom who will do anything for her kids. But she gets in the way of herself when she insists that she be the focus of everything instead of putting the kids first. I thought that was an ugly moment for Teresa, and understandable moment for Joe, and a shining and genuine moment for Gia.

Am I to assume that Gia and Frank Jr started dating? No. I can't recall if it was WWHL or maybe Radio Andy interview but Dolores said they went as friends and remain friends. They've been close since they were little and Frankie has been single and wants to remain single.

I don't know why he's still called little Frankie. I thought Gia looked at him very differently, than the other models. Teresa appears to be losing it, I get the part about the water, but the demonstration, so not needed. Danielle is just a nasty piece of work, and she will turn on Teresa, eventually. Delores sure knows when to leave Teresa alone. Melissa always looks stunning to me. I love her blue dress with the lace down the front in her intro, anything she wears look good, she has a great body.. More children? Is she nuts.. Jennifer in her TH, her face looks so teeny, and her lips are huge, she needs to dial back procedures. I liked Jackie talking to her children about food, she made it fun. Margaret, Jackie and Melissa are on the Envy website . In the previews coming up, Joe finally sees the girls, I had a lump in my throat, regardless of what he did, he's still their father.

Teresa gets more dense in each episode...
Frankie is gross..too many muscles like his dad...yuck. Gia is a pretty girl..
If I were Marge I would have called the cops for assault...they both were wrong but the pulling of the hair was the cherry on top.

I’m fascinated with how artfully hideous these women make themselves. Jennifer and Jackie - both have the ugliest lips on television. The one with the lisp (Jennifer?) seems to have a hard time talking when her flubber lips flap together- how can being trendy be worth that? The Jackie woman - I think she’s the ultra-wealthy one with the homely children - she looks so much like a balloon face with that strange pucker. So fascinating to see how physically odd they look.
Meanwhile, Margaret looks so good without makeup; most of the time she seems out of place among these vulgar women - though she does sometimes step up to match their coarseness, always a laugh.
The faked fights seem nothing more than a vehicle to get them active on screen, flaunting their hideous visages. . Shirley, aka Danielle, is something out of a horror movie. She looks exactly like an axe murderer. I’m fascinated by these grotesque women. I’ve never seen anything like them IRL.

Jennifer is the one with money, and far too much done to her face( already) her and Rinna have the biggest ugliest lips on TV. Jackie has a slight lisp, but I won't make fun of that..

Did Joey and Gino really need to hear about their dad's 3 lone sperm? How red was Joe's face..LOL
Joe G just had to start a fight with Teresa on Mother's Day, he's a nasty man, she's moved on, and he knows it. I'm tired of his calls though, and of course, her kids defend him.
I think David is only seeing Dolores because Frank is building his house, he seems totally disinterested in anything she says.
What exactly does Teresa think Margaret has done to her? Margaret was attacked at Teresa's event, by Teresa's friend, and Teresa didn't really defend her. So Margaret is taking a step away. I don't blame her, I'd do the same thing. I liked the conversation at the brunch, with Teresa there, it would have been all about her mum, and her mum passing. Jennifer mothers face, was so funny, looking at the drag queens..and I still find Marge senior very strange.
Jackie's house is lovely, Jennifer looked very surprised and a tad jealous.
Next week, Jen loses it ( again)

I feel dreadfully stingy, my kids loved a pizza party, so did my granddaughter. Jennifer is back to being her money hungry self, and wearing Chanel' all over herself, looks damn desperate. She's so thirsty for everything, anyone else has.. I loved Jackie's beach house, and I like the way she doesn't need to flaunt everything I think Margaret is basically a good person, she backed away from Teresa ( who is Charles Manson ) she apologised to Jackie about the food comments. I hate the set up, that Joe calls , when it's an occasion, or when they are out.. It's so obvious they are over one another. Looking back, the way he spoke to Teresa was terrible, I could never stand for that, never.
