Music City USA - The chefs take a road trip to Nashville and cook on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry for country music artist Hunter Hayes. Then, they have to dig deep to create a dish inspired by a vibrant music memory. Next, the chefs work on a plate for a full table of Nashville food and some music personalities, including Caleb Followill, model Lily Aldridge, and Chef Jonathan Waxman.
Enjoy the show!

OMG -- Brian from Top Chef 3 in the commercial break cooking demo. He looks like he's into Botox now.

Michelle really touched my heart this episode. She had me tearing up and reaching for the tissues.
She really put her heart into her dish. I’m so glad she won the challenge. Good for her.

Adrienne was sick during this challenge. She should have excused herself from the challenge. If she had stomach flu, she should not have been preparing food.

Quit the show? Adrienne is a front runner and I seriously doubt production would have continued if she was contagious.

Even though it's one of those things we don't want to think about, the truth is that when we all go out to restaurants, we're often being served by people both front and back of house who are sick. Working in a job where you only get paid if you show up brings that about. As a result, chefs learn some tricks to prevent passing what they have along in the food they prepare. It's not ideal, but it happens, so it's not a surprise that it happens in Top Chef. I agree with Amber that if she'd stepped out, she would have been eliminated from the competition - and she wasn't going to do that!

Yeah, I wondered that about too. Either she was suffering from food poisoning or had a stomach bug. Watching her work with food made me very uncomfortable.

After hearing Michelle's story I was glad she won the challenge. When you cook from your heart it really shows.
I was also glad that even though he didn't qualify for the win (because he dropped a dish) Justin's dish was still highly rated.
I like Kelsey and was very glad she wasn't eliminated.

But really Adrienne could had gotten other people sick or with the flu. As really what did the producers think of or do may had been off the screen for our eyes not to be seen. Maybe she washed her hands several times to make sure?!

All righty, then. Now her "symptoms" make sense. She probably didn't even know she was pregnant until she left the show.

only 7 left and I am still not feeling much of a favorite. Last season I was rooting for two or three at this point!

At least I don't hate anybody this season. Guess I am more divided between Justin and Michelle as for whom I am rooting for now.
