I think Stephanie is great, she's been very honest about her bouts of depression, and I think in some ways, her friendship with Brandi has really helped her.
I'd hang with those two, and add Carey.😊
Kam ,she's okay, a little boring, D' Andrea is a lot like mama Dee! Leanne..ugh. I just find her vile and fake.

I could see myself being friends with Brandi and Stephanie. I thought D'Andra was a cool chick...but this season I kind of noticed a small mean streak with her. Cary goes back and forth..I don't trust her. And Kam...*eye roll*..is a wanna-be ditz.

I agree with you about Dandra. She does a good job of trying to cover up just how self centered she is, but she's quite self centered. Aside from her interactions with the other women, I think that was evident in all the drama with her mom. From what we saw it seemed to me that her mom was reluctant to give her the business because it was hard for her to completely give up something she'd put so much of her life into. But the impact that it had on her mom never occurred to Dandra. Instead it was all about her, her, her and how much she deserved the business because she'd been waiting damnit.
I think that Dandra can be one of those women who burns through friends quickly. At first she's fun and you're lured in. But after a while you discover that everything she does is all about her, and it wears a person out.
Cary I don't see as going back and forth as much as I do being the one of them that has the best sense of right and wrong. She's judging what happens on the situation rather than on which of the women are her favorites. All the others have a very strong sense of siding with whoever they are closest to.
Kameron is one of those women I could not stand in real life, but I"m totally amused by on the show. She embraces how superficial she is and puts it out there to entertain people.

I heard someone on Amy Phillips radio show suggest she'd had plastic surgery to make her look more like her best friend who was on RHD the first season. I don't remember the woman's name, but they do look more alike now.

I don't remember the woman's name, but they do look more alike now. Must be Tiffany Hendra. And you are right....she does look more like her. How creepy is that? I'm liking this franchise more so than the other ones...far more entertaining! I am extremely late to the game in watching the RHOD. Glad I finally did, as it's quickly becoming my favorite! I am starting the 3rd season so that I can be caught up when the new season beings. |

I think it helps so much that several of the women had established relationships well before the show started so they're not all just faking friendship for the cameras. I also think they have the perfect balance of silly fun and dramatic grudges. Brandi will do any say anything which makes her entertaining, and some of the things that come out of Kameron's mouth are so out of touch you just can't do anything but laugh! |

Kameron can be really 1% and clueless about life, but she's still fun to watch. She's not aggravating like the wealthy people on Southern Charm. She isn't trying to hurt people. She just doesn't get it. I'm glad this show is back. I wish Bravo would make longer seasons for this and RHOP. Some of the older franchises are getting stale and mean.

The distinction to me between most of the Southern Charm crowd and Kameron is that I think Kameron is aware of the fact that not everyone lives like her, knows she doesn't get how they live, and is okay with that. Many in the Southern Charm crowd don't come across as even being aware that everyone does not live like they do. Shep seems to think there's a defect in anyone who doesn't live like him rather than it being a lot of luck. Kameron seems to know how fortunate she is. |

IDK why I clicked on this thread, since I never watch any of the RH shows, but you are so right about Highland Park! I lived in Texas for 39 years (Arlington) & moved to Florida 2 years ago. The area I live in now is so chill & casual. I love it. I don't have the pressure to look a certain way all the time. I haven't seen a local here yet with fake hair or fake eyelashes! I had extensions when I lived in Texas & I don't miss them one bit! I never did the fake lashes thing though. |

I like the new HW, she's having trouble with her daughter as well.
Looks like a good season
I didnt know Carey was leaving, but she has a new show, plump it up( I think that's what it's called)

I have some reservations on the new housewife only because I’m not sure she’s got real ties to any of the other women. I love the cohesiveness of this group and believe they spend time together in some combinations even when not filming. I’d rather them keep that than pull in someone new to create drama. I also missed Cary as a regular, even though she didn’t have a lot going on in her life.
I agree with you Stargazer about Brandi’s daughter, though I think Brandi is suffering through what she created. I think that at times, her kids have seen plenty examples of Brandi talking like that and showing that it’s okay. I also think Brandi resists being a real disciplinarian with her kids so they don’t get a lot of reinforcement of right and wrong. But I don’t think Brandi is really suffering through it, The way she behaves, I think she’s likely amused by some of it.
