So, I just read about Cassie and her other reality show which you just posted about, on another site. It says Cassie and her on-again, off-again boyfriend of 5 years. So, I don't know if we can say she is or isn't a 'wrong reasons' contestant. Judging by the looks of her 'boyfriend', Colton doesn't look to be her type. Apparently season 1 can be seen on You Tube but you have to pay for season 2.

I'm wondering if TPTB knew about her involvement with this other reality show before she was cast. Did the show happen to mention it? If they did, I missed it. Still, she must be one heck of a good actress if she really is wrong reasons, b/c that lust was palpable between the two of them: I felt icky watching. :lol

The Producers let a little bit slip by their investigators with those bachelor contestants, but by and large they have an excellent handle on what people are doing or have done. They would know of her involvement, and the fact that it was a reality show with premises so clearly different than the Bachelor most likely intrigued them.
What they most likely did not anticipate was Colton latching on to Cassie in the manner in which he did. She clearly became the frontrunner to even the girls in the house. Perhaps the Producers were hopeful that he would be interested (not frontrunner, though), and they could exploit the other show and its premise for some drama/entertainment without hurting Colton's eventual F1 relationship.
