2/08 Drag Race All Stars 4 Show Discussion

I sort of agreed with the choice, although I thought the challenge itself was kind of lame. I don't know if they have new writers or what, but the parodies and comedy skits haven't been as sharp or on-point as they used to be. And nobody's runway look was that great -- they were all in cat costumes, whee.

Something else made me a little sad. After last season's twist overkill and the negative backlash against it, it was odd listening to the queens talk in the workroom as if they were totally fine with the twist and the backstabbing they have to do, and getting rid of strong queens over the worst in the challenge. They just accept it now and don't take it as personally. That was just weird to watch -- the thing that was supposed to make them create drama doesn't even phase them anymore. Which is all the more reason to dump the whole "All Star rules" for good, and just go back to Ru deciding each week.
