Wow...two-third of the teams lost their original captain and almost all of them are now on Extinction Island.

badseed it looks like to double-posted on contestant scores, and are missing the leaderboard.

It's closing time on Extinction Island. ♫ Closing time. Time to have a challenge and see who gets back into the game Closing time. Ten will lose the challenge and be out of it, and that's a shame. Closing time. One last chance to get back in, so don't let your flame disappear. Closing time. You don't have to go home, but you Can't. Stay. Here. ♫ This was a very odd season, I really expected more quits from EoE, to make your pools less top-heavy, but sadly, they didn't and that meant your initial picks became the predominant deciders. Tables spoilered since they're big, so you can skip right to the summary below if you wish. Before announcing the top 3, comes the winner of the Wooden Television Award. This Pinesonic flatscreen TV will not help you watch Rick Devens on the evening news, and gets a total of zero channels. But look on the bright side, there are no unsightly wires, and mounting's a breeze because you can drill straight through. Also they could use it as a cutting board at La Cheeserie. The Wooden Television goes to... No Slugs and JosephD! No Slugs started out with a stumble by picking Keith for captain. After Keith left, they got stuck with Aurora as team captain, and in the second half of the game, she became a real sponge for stray votes, and her negative scores counted double. Sorry for your misfortune, but thanks for playing. In 3rd place, Midol and the very to-the-point name Extinction!!! Midol had Chris ranked above the rest of the final 6, so he got a doubler on Chris's final push. In 2nd place, Last Days Of The DinoSurvivors and allysense! This team had a so-so captain in Aubry, but two high scorers in Rick and Aurora. They also had a good stack of last-placers at the bottom of their pool, which gave them a big payday when EoE was vacated. And in first place, this person simply couldn't be caught.... It's me, badseed and Joe-Rassic Park!!! I predicted that Kama would steamroll most of Manu but Rick would integrate himself somehow, and it came to pass. I didn't actually want Joe to win this season, but his challenge ability made him a pretty good bet for high-scoring. Thanks everyone for playing. I hope you'll all join me next season on "Survivor: Rob and Sandra get Big Heads"

Thanks badseed, will we see the scoreboard for the final episode scores? I don't think you posted those. And congratulations for your win!

Congratulations, badseed! Since I always do so bad in the Survivor pool, I kind of copied another player's picks, only I chose the wrong person to copy! Helenmaco usually does very well in the pools so I took her basic lineup and shuffled a few around slightly. I was lucky to escape last place by the end of the season. If I copy somebody else next season, it will be badseed! Thank for another great pool, and congratulations to all the winners, even the Wooden Television winner JosephD!

Congratulations on your win, badseed. Congrats to Midol and allysense, as well as everyone who played. I proudly accept my Wooden Television award. It just feels good to be a winner. Pikachu... I don't blame you for semi-copying off of someone else's list. I might have to try that in the future. Usually, I watch the pre-season videos and read each contestant's bio and I try to pick my ranking based on who I feel has the physical ability to do well in the challenges and manage to survive the deprivation and harsh conditions. That strategy never seems to work. So,... This time around I watched the pre-season videos and read each contestant's bio and I tried a less physical, more social game approach. I ranked my team based on who seemed to be the most friendly, easy-going, faith-based, down-to-earth and approachable. That strategy was worse than the first. My captain was voted out second, then later quit. So much for ranking on warmth and compassion. So, .... Next time there's a pool, I'm going for the purely shallow approach. Forget athleticism. Forget social skills. I'm ranking my team like this: #1 Cutest guy/girl #2 Second cutest guy/girl #3 Third cutest guy/girl etc.... I can't wait to see how that random mess plays out.

It is interesting the top 3 finishers all have extinction theme pool names ~ Joe-Rassic Park, Last Days Of The DinoSurvivors, and Extinction. Congrats to Badseed, Midol, and JosephD (yep, I won one of those wooden things before so you are in good company!). As for coming in second again, it makes it three seasons in a row which isn't too shabby. Other credits goes to Monte71 with Endangered Species (another extinction theme name) was strong throughout the season, Cootie (Extinction Distinction) who came off the bottom, and Pikachu who had Reem, the longest lasting EOE member, in her team name (Reemed Out).

It seems I forgot to post the finishing leaderboard, sorry about that. I bet it sounded suspicious, declaring myself the winner without providing proof. Here are the tables now

Thanks again to badseed for doing this pool. It's way more fun to watch when we have a pool.
