Irina was so rude for using another machine.

Irina stays with her huge parka shmatteh, yet Sean and Dmitry were bottom two and Sean is gone? I'm done.
Bring on the new Bravo season.

I'm ready to move on too. The new version looks great. I am a fan of Christian Siriano.

It looked like straight out of the Brass Plum at Nordie's....and not in this decade. If they thought Sean's look was cliche (and I do see their point), what was that thing Irina made?
I LOOOOVE Asia Kate Dillon! I was really impressed with their critiques too. Really smart and not what the guest judges usually do, which is usually to like everything and add nothing to the conversation. They seemed to make some good points and really to have a good eye for detail.
I agreed with (was it?) Biddell talking about how so many of the designers seemed to interpret "gender neutral clothing" as giant boxy sacks. At least Sean's wasn't that.
Irina monopolizing a sewing machine to make something for herself while other designers were actually trying to finish their looks? Don't even get me started. She needs to GO
I enjoyed seeing different models. Michelle saying that Anthony Ryan and his model look like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito in Twins!

I thought Alyssa Milano "gender-neutral streetwear" outfit she wore to announce the challenge made her look like Humpty Dumpty. I liked Christina's winning look and agree with Sean's elimination for what he dressed his model in was just all around bad.

There were lots of bad looks this time. Like Biddell said, they were interpreting gender neutral as "androgynous" and made pretty boring things.
Michelle is bugging me, and so is Irina. Dmitri's looks are starting to look the same to me too, and since hearing he didn't even want to be on this season, I can see why he's phoning it in. When he said "if I get to go home" that really told me a lot.
I liked the judging too, this week!

I too agree with Biddel's comments. I hated ARs look .... just seems like it is pretty much the same thing as his previous win. I liked the winning design... and I wouldn't have been sorry to see Dimitri go instead of Sean.

I really liked a lot of the looks this week and in many cases, the model absolutely made the look better (in my opinion AR lucked out on his model). I loved Irina's coat and would wear it myself but I'm not sure how gender neutral it was. Cynthia's outfit was very Zen and I was glad it won. I liked Sean's a lot but the pin-stripe did make it cliche; had it been rendered in another material it probably would have been Dimitry going home. Dimitry's coat was cool in a reverse Matrix type of way but the tons of decorative buttons hurt it. I applaud Michelle for using peeks of floral and color in her work (she, AR, and Biddell were the only 3 that didn't think gender neutral = dystopian in their color palate). I wouldn't have sent Sean home, but not sure who I would have sent home in his place.
Irina is ridiculous. There's no reason why she had to go to another machine that was in use to whip up her dress, and I suspect producer intervention made her get up because Michelle looked close to knocking her out. The whole thing stunk of producer intervention if you ask me, because why didn't she simply use thee machine she used for her competition clothes? Something in the milk ain't clean.

"Androgynous" doesn't have to mean boring any more than "gender neutral" does. One season they specifically had a challenge where they had to design an androgynous look. In fact, the designers were each given a pair of models to work with, one male and one female. They had to create an outfit that would look great on both models. They had some great looks in that challenge. No, these designers just didn't have any imagination and created boring looks. I laughed when Bidell made that remark because it was so true.
So Dmitri doesn't want to be here? Call me silly, but why is he here, then? Why put yourself through all this if your heart's not in it?
