I am so sad for my Aubry, I know she was playing hard.. too hard.. and was targeted because she was a returning player but damn it still sucks, I like her! lol.
The more I watch this show the less I care that players return. Way I see it, they still play the game just like everyone else. The only 'advantage' they have is they know what to expect, and only to a degree. They still have to go without, they still have to be physical in challenges, they still have to brave the elements, and they still have to play the game. By this point, if you are on the show it is safe to assume you have seen at least one episode. Because they are returning players, yes they DO have that stigma and are easy targets. This factor makes the game that much harder. In the end, yeah they bring players back (mostly good players that are fan faves) so when you think about it unless you did nothing on TV for TPTB you have a chance to be asked back as well.
I think the only person I really hated to see come back was Hantz, like him or hate him for his style as a player I just found him to be a despicable human being. As much as I like him, maybe Ozzy has had enough chances.. and Boston Rob had too many (I am sure there was a production meeting that went like this: Hey! Lets just find a way to make the game winnable for this asshat and we won't have to him him whine about it anymore.) most of the people that come back I want to see do well.. ala David. David has grown so much as a player and person, its kinda nice to be along on this ride with him. Given the people that we have this season honestly Joe, David, Aubry, and then maybe (reaching here) Wendy are the ones I want to do well. I only say Wendy because she is quirky and I want to see a non-super-physical player win.. we have had it before but there are so many alphas this season the thought of them going after one another is humourous to me, but I know Chickengate is a killer for her on the island. When it comes down to it, I just don't feel invested in any of the non-returning players like in past seasons.
On the subject of "physical players" WTF is up with Warthog?? Can someone be more lazy and self involved?! DAVID (????) doesn't do well in the physical part of challenges?! Well yeah he may not be the most physical out there, but he tries and he has other offerings.. what have you done to help this team at all? Why haven't they wised up and chucked his self serving behind off their island. He is the reason they are not doing well. "Morelog's" ego is about as big as his mouth. I have as much faith in him as a lawyer as I would have in Keith as a doctor. (sidebar on that.. I REALLY hope he is playing dumb because I cannot see how he is making it in higher education let along thinking he will be a physician) "SnoreFrog" is going to end up being a goat in the end if he sticks around. His size makes people think hes going to be a threat, but anyone that has him on their tribe long enough, and by long enough I mean a day, can see he is about as WarDoggy as a newborn teacup Yorkie and just as yappy.
As I wrap up this super long post (I guess this 2 hours episode hit a bunch of cords with me this week, sorry all!) I wanna say it was nice to see more EOE island footage. Reem was off the chart last night with the "I gave it to him" blow up. I so want to like her but she is starting to make it hard. As a give it to you with no BS kinda person I can appreciate it in others when delivered properly, but she was a bit much last night. I took the comment as a simple figure of speech not as something that was actually done on her part. If it was me in that position (not accounting for the lack of chocolate, wine, milanos, coffee, pizza and isolation this is..) I would have looked at them and said "Yep, I did. I dropped the ball, I saw it and watched as he ran right at it and did nothing." Because yeah Reem, that IS what you looked to have done. So in essence you, did in fact, give it too him. Stood there, pointed at something and said TO KEVIN, "Oh whats that?!" then watched him run at it.. while you still stood there... sigh.. lets face it, Keith, nice guy or not (in some people's minds.. not mine) comes off as smart as a houseplant that has been over-watered on a spring day. SMH.
Meh, I lied, I am not done. I want to send out a big F you and F off to Kelly Wentworth. I was sorta OK with her being back in the beginning, or maybe it was more of eh i don't care about your existence one way or another so whatever. I never really had all the issues everyone else did but after her "he is basically a girl" comment (as many have already mentioned.. and thumbs up to y'all for calling her out on the stupidity) she can go the way of GoreClog (ok im reaching here but I think this one just punches home how flipping stupid it is to call oneself WarDog... HARD HARD eye roll). I am seriously disappointed in her, way to be ignorant!
k, now i'm done.. hehe.
