I would guess they probably aren't allowed in the drop area except at the designated times. If I were them, though, I would be scouring the rest of the island for food sources. I wouldn't rely on just what was given to me if there were native plants, fruits, and other things to scavenge.

Was it them that said there wasn't fruit on their island or was that the third tribe, or both? But native plants isn't something we ever see players utilizing for food. Why not? They've been going to Fiji for several years. Surely there are some native plants that are edible.

If Reem makes it to the final jury, after 36 days on EOE, I have to question what they were provided to eat. That's far too long to subsist on just a little rice. I don't think production would allow that.

I don't think production would allow that. This comment got me curious so I Googled it. Other than coconut and guava, there are apparently no edible plants native to Fiji. There are several that are used for medicinal purposes, but other than that, nothing.

It didnt look like a lot of food but some is better than none.

Wendy didn't make Chris throw the fish back in the water? LOL good question! Probably not. She's a hypocrite. She eats meat at home, defended the chickens lives on the island, but when she got voted out she said she was looking forward to eating a cheeseburger. She just doesn't want to face where her food comes from. IMO, that's disrespectful of the animals who gave their lives. Frankly, I don't really want to have my food looking like what it used to... I'm very squeamish. I could not do those gross food challenges. I wouldn't want to kill the chicken, pluck the feathers or anything to do with that, but I would eat it. However, I certainly appreciate the fact that an animal had to die for me to consume it. MrCoz was raised in a hunting family. They only hunted for food, never sport. They were poor and it helped them eat on a limited budget.

Ron and Wardog are my least favorite players. I'll be glad to see both of them go.
I don't understand all the Wentworth negativity. She's hasn't really done all that much game-wise. I don't understand what she's done to make so many of you dislike her. She's just another player, imo. No love. No hate. She's just there.
I hope Joe teams up with Chris, but I think he'll align himself with Aubry. Joe reminds me of Ozzy in a lot of ways: Awesome in challenges and pulling more than his fair share around camp, but severely lacking in social skills.
I really like the David & Devins duo. Hope that shared immunity idol works to their advantage.
This is an interesting season. I like the Edge of Extinction twist. I think they should keep it for future seasons because it would change the whole dynamic of the game. Without EOE people are quick to want to get out any returning players and bigger threats post merge. But with EOE in the background of their minds, knowing that anyone they vote off will have the chance to come back with a vengeance, that might change the way they cast their votes at tribal council.

I don't think Joe lacks social skills - I think he is seen as a sure winner - nice, helpful, and a challenge beast - and no one wants to go to the end with him for fear of losing.

Regarding Kelley, she bothers me because of her attitude, the faces she makes at others, blaming/shaming David, and the general feeling that she thinks she's better than the others. I probably liked her more in her first season than as a returning player.

Joe lost immunity, so do they take him out while they can? I hope not, because I like watching him, but it would be a good move. Or do they go with Devens (Rick)? I wish Wentworth would be the one though, to be honest. Exactly how I felt when I was watching!

I was thinking after the show that going to Extinction is probably the best thing for Joe! He doesn't have to worry week to week about being voted out It's like he's won immunity until the next challenge to get back in the game. He certainly has a great chance of getting back in and he'll be closer to the end then so he'll have a better chance of getting to the finals. Very good point!

1. Whose Ken? I have no recollection of this guy whatsoever. lol Also, Aurora? Were these people flown into camp between last week and this week? lol 2. Wendy takes lots of bleep from some viewers, but I guarantee at the reunion, she's going to feel the love from castmates and Jeff. I enjoyed every second she graced my screen. I noticed she did well in all the challenges, including helping to solve puzzles. I was hoping tonight she'd win the challenge to get back in the game. It was fascinating watching her work so calmly and steadily as her Tourette's acted up. Knowing full well any more stress might make the tics worse. She almost had it. BY a mile. 3. Choosing to go home rather than stay on the island to fight another day is a personal decision based on factors we are not privy to, so I'm not going to judge anyone who leaves. Having said that, Kevin behaved like such a slime ball last week, good riddance. 4. There is an imbalance on extinction island in that poor Reen has been there for over two weeks without any real sustenance. NO shelter and nothing but mind games to keep her occupied. I think Aubrey is too all over the place to be focused enough to win. 5. Joe Joe, Joe. I started out disliking you and your man bun years ago. But, this season I find myself rooting for you. That's because you do all the damn work, boy! Your tribe actually skated by in all those wins courteous of your hard work. You practically built the camp. Cooked, made fire, went fishing, while your tribe lived off your labor. You kept saying at the beginning of this series you were going to lay low, not be so helpful because that's what contributed to you being voted out the last two times. But, you did not follow your advice. And you trusted everyone. I did appreciate the fire in your belly as you stalked off to extinction Island vowing vengeance. That was some good t.v. Because I've never seen you express anger in that way. 6. Oh lord, Wentworth. The more they delay voting her out, the more her power grows. It's like most of them don't consider her a threat. Why all the emphasis on David and Joe? She's the real shark in this game. She'd cut her own mother to win. 7. I don't quite know why David is always in the 'vote him out ' mix. He's nice. But, he isn't a threat at all. IIt's hard to understand the strategy of these votes this year. 8. I hope the reign of mad dog is over. Because he is a fraud. He's lazy, he's not capable of playing a good social game and he's terrible at challenges. I agree with you on points 1 (actually, the guy's name is Ron, & I don't like what I've seen of him one bit), 5, 6, 7, & 8! Wendy did do good in challenges & she was killing it at the challenge to get back in, but I didn't feel like she's cut out for this game. She had NO strategy, & didn't even TRY to have a strategy. No one would ever want her in an alliance because she's too non-committal. You can't play this game as a lone wolf. You have to have at the bare minimum 1 person who you trust & they trust you. No one trusted her because she was somewhat of a loose cannon. Keith needed to go. He sucked at every challenge & had no chance in hell to win this game. Best to put him out of his misery & let him leave. And point #6...I agree 1000000%. Can't stand her!

...and painted a mural of all their portraits. 😁 LOL! While teaching them all, you too can have beautiful hair.. His hair was GLORIOUS at TC! Hair goals! I have naturally curly hair that I have finally quit flat-ironing into submission (at least for now ) & I wish it was as long as his. Mine is only to my shoulders. I want it long, but it doesn't want to grow past this point for some reason.

Ron rubs me the wrong way. Those arrogant because they are in the majority are sure to be blindsided and have their faces rubbed in humility. Can't wait. Dude, you didn't make the majority you are just lucky to be in it. Ugh! What little I've seen of him, I don't like one bit! Next week's preview shows him acting like he's king of the mountain (or island, lol) , so hopefully his arrogant butt gets voted out next week!

Never get complacent in this game. Never get cocky in this game. Never think you have it locked up in this game. Because the powers that be will pull that arrogance right from under your feet. Can't wait for that to happen. Insert evil grin here.

Rick getting an idol advantage i thought was just too much, he's already getting a second chance, isn't that enough? Its merge, if he can't survive the first merge vote with 12 other players, his time in the game should be over. And don't even get me started about Reem, Chris and Aubry being on the jury already...... SERIOUSLY you have got to be kidding me. Reem was the first boot and I swear I feel like I know more about this woman than every player left remaining in the game.
And as much as I dont like the EOE twist, Keith and Wendy quitting, when they literally had a second chance to come back into the game or at least a guaranteed jury vote, is insane to me. I will never understand why people hype Wendy up so much as a fan she just doesn't do it for me at all.
I do not like this season at all, its so bad a bottom 5 season for me for sure , I miss David vs Goliath better yet i Just miss Survivor.

Are they really on the jury, or do they get the benefit of listening in for a future time should they be the one to win a spot back in the game, get voted off a second time and eventually be on the "real" jury?

Apparently this really is the jury, if they don't quit or end up back in the game and make it to F3. It means that people on the jury may have no or almost no experience or relationship with the final contestants.

Two people already have quit. The jury used to have the benefit of Ponderosa. Why stay now and risk your health?
