I'm the Puppet Master - The puppet master attempts to pull the strings on other castaways, and one castaway struggles to find balance at an immunity challenge after exhaustion takes its toll.
Enjoy the show...

Oh my dog shut up wardog. He's such a know-it-all but doesn't have anything (physical or mental) to back it up. Just let someone else do the planning for a change!

Reward challenge. Aurora, Devens, Wardog, Victoria, Julia and Eric win and get to eat Chinese takeout at camp. It was a combo physical/puzzle challenge. And Ron thinks he's the puppet master. Hopefully this is foreshadowing and he is out this week. He's kind of annoying. I don't like the arrogant ones unless they are funny about it.

Oh my gosh. Devens is hilarious tonight. He's so emotional but he's also not one to back down so his conversation with Wardog was so confrontational and entertaining. BUT I do think he might be making a bad move for his own game.

Meanwhile, on Edge of Extinction, they get messages in a bottle. It's a hint to an advantage and they all go scrambling. Aubrey finds it but doesn't share, and gets a practice advantage. She also gets to send an extra vote to someone in the game.

Immunity challenge time already. We're about to find out who has the medical emergency...
Wardog out first.

Julia drops. Ron falls right after. And then Julie.
David, Victoria, Aurora and Lauren are the only one's left.

Lauren collapsed. When she wakes up the first thing she says is "DAMN IT!" I really like Lauren now-a-days. She's a fighter.

Aurora is trying to negotiate the win but Kama is not having it, but Victoria drops anyway. Hopefully this gives Kama a taste of defeat. Come on Aurora, stir up some stuff!

Ouch, Lauren.
Is Wardog good at anything besides running his mouth?

And Aurora got the extra vote from Aubrey. Kama is talking about splitting votes with Wentworth as their target. The others are scrambling to make something happen.

The edit is making it seem like Wardog got Julia thinking and now Gavin and Julia are going to vote out Ron. I don't trust the editing shenanigans I think Kama is going to stick together and those girls better play their idol(s).

Finally this game is getting exciting. I loved last week's surprise of the Edge Island people. This week we get a great surprise vote. Maybe this season had hope after all!

I was shocked those girls didn't play their idols, but then realized they knew something that hadn't fully been shown to us. The faces on Devens and Ron were hilarious! I love blindsides like that, but really wish Kelley and Wardog were out. I guess they did a good job convincing the Kamas on the bottom that they were on the bottom. They don't need such a "resume" at this point, but that sure worked on them. They don't realize though, that their voting him out isn't going to pump up each of their resumes, only the person who initiated/convinced. The rest are all sheep at this point. And, they're sheep whose names I don't even know yet! At least, not well. I want to get to know more about Julie and Julia, though Aurora annoyed me tonight so I don't care to get to know her any more. While she was up there in the challenge, I wanted her to shut up and stop drawing attention to the fact that she was the ONE who was left out. If she hadn't won, her butt might have gotten voted out of there for that. Not to mention being insensitive to the girl on the ground unconscious and being tended to. Sheesh!
I really dislike Wardog a lot, and so they've ousted one cocky, overconfident player and followed another one. I think Kama should've stuck together, and gotten more of the others out, especially the returning players (even though I like David), so I'm on board with Devens. His drunken talk with Wardog was funny, and he made a lot of sense. But, I don't think he's in this game for long.
I wonder what shocks the jury so much next week? David/Deven's idol? Aurora's extra vote?

Poor old Rick is still not getting looped in to everyone's plans. Can you say Karma for Ron going on and on about being the puppet master, then getting bamboozled by his own alliance. I hope we see a repeat of Survivor:Samoa, where the majority tribe coming into the merge started cannibalizing their own until they woke up one day and discovered, whoops, they weren't the majority anymore.

I loved seeing Rick Devens mouth at tribal. He had earned points with me until tonight when he went off on Wardog and David. He acted so cocky about how he knew better and didn't need them. It's Survivor... Even if that's the case don't brag about it! It was at that point I was totally good with him getting voted out again but this was just as rewarding.

But strategically I feel it was a blunder to be that cocky. Like you said, way too many people left in this game to think an alliance is solid until the end right now. I think this season has been pretty good overall. No major complaints from my end!

I'm also ok with Aurora continuing her negotiations with Victoria while Lauren was unconscious.
Did Aurora play the extra vote last night? Was she shown twice during the voting recap (it goes too quickly for me to follow easily)? I don't recall hearing whether she could only play it last night.

The note says that it's good through the Final 7, so she can hold onto it a little longer.

I am so glad that Lauren is ok, that was really scary! I thought they were gonna have to stop the challenge at first. I feel so bad for her she has been really struggling health wise out there for a while, survivor is BRUTAL.
I have not been a big fan of this season, but i do think that was a really good blindside last night. Eric and Ron I think were seen as the two pilots like Dom and Wendell were in Ghost Island, so Julia and Gavin decided to take one of them out now, while they had the numbers to do so and I totally get it, they felt like they were at the bottom of the core alliance which they really were tbh
Rick has gotten really cocky since he has been back, he feels betrayed by former Lesu and i get that, but to go off on Wardog I just dont think was smart on a game level, like you have the right to be upset, but don't allow the players to know you are upset, you have to stay cool, vent in your confessionals about your anger.
Idk I liked Rick a lot better before he was voted out, he came back into the game and got that idol advantage and its really gotten to his head. It looks like four targets were thrown out in the preview for the next episode, so im curious to see where the game goes from here.

I was really hoping for a Ron blindside last night! I wonder if they felt like Eric was a bigger physical threat so they decided to vote him out? But really, so far, women have won the II, so brawn isn't everything.
I really disliked Lauren from her bio & then aligning with Kelly, but she's shown to be a strong competitor & is in it to win it, & she hasn't been annoying like her bio made her look. I'm good with her now, despite being aligned with Kelly.

I agree, I think seeing Ron go would have been more satisfying as a viewer, he was funny to me like the first couple episodes but now he just looks like a doofus He thinks he is this big mastermind when in reality there is no way he is winning this season. Eric is just the bigger physical threat just like Joe was, its just really easy to vote out challenge threats early merge especially if they are seen as calling the shots like Eric was, it happens all the time. Like getting Aubry/Joe out at the time looked like a great move in Erics eyes at the time but in the long run if either of them were still in the game and didnt win immunity I really don't think Eric would have left at this tribal thats the risk you take when you get out big threats too soon. Timing is everything in this game
