The Art of Fashion - It's down to the final five, and the last challenge to determine which four designers will move on to the finale. Cardi B and Bergdorf Goodman's Linda Fargo join the judges.
Enjoy the show!

It must be frustrating for these designers to have to come up with a "room" at this point. They have a lot of pressure on them, and they aren't architects or production designers. Alas, they all pulled it off.
As soon as Sebastian said he was leaving, I figured he would win. Seems that happens often! He didn't win, but created something the judges loved. I am glad he is in. His execution is beautiful, and he is right; his clothes speak for themselves. I thought Garo should win; his room be great, and the dress, although a bit costume-y, could be stripped down to something many women would love to wear.
I am glad Bishme won as well. His dress was not my favorite, but I did like his room concept, and the way he styled his model. Nice to have a self-taught designer in the final 4.
I didn't care for the dresses from either girl. I don't think there is much of a market for either of these designs; where would you wear these clothes?. Tessa's all look the same; sort of like Japanese robes. The strips of fabric just seem odd and un-necessary for such a minimalist look. Hester (who once again was rescued by Nina...eyeroll), made more of what she has already made; silly clothes that would be might work in Teen Magazine (if that magazine is still in publication), but certainly not Vogue. Between the two, I am glad Tessa was voted off. She has had a lousy attitude of late.... at least Hester has a happier presence.
I will be happy if Garo or Sebastian win the final. Garo can really dress any body type, and I would buy one of his corset dresses in a snap. Sebastian sews beautifully, and has created such interesting, refined clothes. I can see hundreds of women wanting his clothes... simple, clean, elegant and different. Yep...... I guess I hope Sebastian has the edge.

When they were in front of Hester's room, and Nina was praising her dress, did you see the look on Bergdorf woman's face? Priceless! You could almost see the thought bubble. "How in the heck would we sell this crud? Even most teenage girls wouldn't buy it." She's right. I work in a high school and no girl dresses like this. The only variation I've really seen are some girls who are into the goth look. Every week during football season, we have a spirit day where we dress according to a theme. If some poor girl showed up in one of Hester's outfits, people would be asking, "Is this Clown Week?"

I'd be happy to see any on the 3 men win. I think all the men produced stunning dresses this week. My admiration for Bishme grows each week. He is the only self-taught designer, he is the youngest remaining contestant and he makes gorgeous clothes. I'm guessing Garro or Sebastion will win. Please, not Hester! I do think Hesters' show will be fun to watch. Her sense of fun should liven up the runway! Was so glad to see Tessa eliminated. Her clothes are awful and her attitude is worse. What on earth was she thinking with that brown thing with all the flaps? To me, it was just another ugly Tessa "creation".

Apparently Nina was Hester's support over the season and Brandon the same for Tessa. Glad that she is gone.

I feel like this entire season has been underwhelming. The judges have been inconsistent and so many designs were bad. I'm not convinced Elaine and Karlie are good judges. I think Christian is a good mentor, but he may need to be a judge next season.

I did like that we got to see all the designers clothes again. Glad Tessa is gone.
Any of the guys winning is fine with me too.
Poor Christian, I do like him in this role but a judge would be good too.

I cracked up when Tessa tried to explain how her frayed unfinished edges were part of her aesthetic all along.

It should have been final three - both women should have been sent home. Looking forward to the finals and rooting for Sebastian or Bishme

There is a life beyond PR and Tessa ( as well as a few who have already gone home) did not make themselves look good for any kind of real life offer.

Bright colors make me happy so I can't wait to see where Hester lives!

Tessa's lies about the pink dress in the last episode made me switch my support from her to Hester. I may not like all of Hester's designs, but at least she didn't lie about her client. I think Hester realizes that her market is smaller than the markets of the other designers. I still think she abused her immunity, but Tessa really left a bad taste in my mouth. Her lie made me take a look at her other designs and how unfinished they were. In the beginning, I thought Tessa would get the villain edit without deserving it. She earned it last week.

Bright colors make me happy so I can't wait to see where Hester lives! I think she lives in New Mexico. Perhaps she'll move to New York.

Bright colors make me happy so I can't wait to see where Hester lives! I think she lives in New Mexico. Perhaps she'll move to New York. That sounds correct, but I think she moved back there to take care of her parents? The preview of her apartment looked pretty colorful. betty80 Tessa's behavior that episode seemed worse to me because she was dealing with a real person and didn't seem to care. At least Hester and Jamal tried to make something their clients would want. If it were me and I wanted a custom dress made, I would call Sebastian first, then Bishme, then Garo. They all made beautiful dresses their clients asked for and loved.

Yes. She and her wife moved to take care of her parents. I'm a Hester fan!

I finally caught up with the rest of you.
I thought Bishme's dress was beautiful. I'm surprised it didn't win.
I loved Garo's look as well. It was very creative, although I can't see many women wearing the wing-like thingy around their waist, but at least Garo was mindful enough to make it detachable...so there's that.
I really like Sebastian as a person and as a designer. He's so humble. Still, I don't find his architectural loop-dee-loops very appealing nor flattering to a woman's figure. I can see why the judges praise him when he makes those. It does showcase his craftsmanship, and it's extremely time consuming for him to take on such a challenge given their limited time to make a garment.
In contrast, Tessa still can't find the time to finish a hem. I don't believe that is really her aesthetic. I'm glad she got eliminated, although I will give her credit for handling her elimination gracefully.
I can't wait to see the finale. I'll be happy if Bishme, Garo or Sebastian win.

I cracked up when Tessa tried to explain how her frayed unfinished edges were part of her aesthetic all along.
I know! That moment when the judges declared, "Oh! It's supposed to be Japanese art! Why didn't you say so in the beginning?" That was one of the funniest moments I've seen on PR. You could tell they totally weren't buying it.
Hester used to live with her wild and crazy friends in NYC. Then she moved to New Mexico with her partner to look after parents. I remember because I commented on that earlier in the season.
What fabric did Sebastien use for all those folds? Because yes, it looked good architecturally, but it also looked so heavy. I kept waiting for the poor model's dress to fall off.

I think they said heavy wool of some kind, and whatever fabric he attached it to, Brandon commented it was technically difficult and he would not have tried it.
