Jackson MichieBig Brother 21 HouseguestAge: 24 Hometown: Nashville, Tennessee Current City: Los Angeles, California Occupation: Server Three adjectives that describe you: Driven, assertive and confident. Favorite Activities: Exercising, social events, and hunting. What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house? Honestly, nothing seems too difficult that I couldn’t endure it. However, remembering that I’m under 24/7 video surveillance will be my only hiccup. I feel like after a week or two I’ll become comfortable and forget that I can’t sleep naked, drop my towel, etc. Also, the food. I’m not a picky eater at all, but I eat a good amount of food. Not being able to grocery shop and get my daily watermelons or protein bars would be tough, but manageable. Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most? Paul: Simply, he told it like it was. I respect honesty and boldness. Brett: “Guy’s Guy” to a tee. He was socially talented, physical, and would probably be someone I would hang out with outside of the house. Do you have a strategy for winning the game? Absolutely. Be physical — which I’m very good at — but not too physical. I will win competitions but I’ve got to pick them wisely as to not become too large of a threat. Furthermore, be willing to do anything and everything I have to in order to win the houseguests over on a social level. I was pre-law and have been involved in real estate/sales my entire life. If there’s one thing I’m good at, it is connecting with people, reading them, and selling them on whatever it is I’m trying to get them to buy into. Whether it’s a property, a judge and jury, a bottle of wine, or medical supplies, I can sell it. Sales is all about being the person your customer wants you to be and selling them without them knowing they’ve even been sold. I can, and will, sell myself to the houseguest and get them to buy into me. My life’s motto is… “Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing, moderation is for cowards.” What would you take into the house and why?My Weight Belt/Versa Gripps so I can lift as heavy as I do outside of the house. Some form of music so I can work out, relax, or regroup. An iPad or tablet that streams my mass every Sunday morning so I can stay in touch with my religious side. Hard pass on this one. Seems a little too douchey for my taste.

Smells like a late recruit. Maybe he waits tables at a restaurant near the studio.
Seems like someone who will piss off the entire female side of the house at some point.

He's like the supposed to be hot but he's not at all hot guy. Irritated by him immediately. "the internet ruined this generation". Vomit. But you're still cool? You somehow escaped and everybody else is shit right? Can't stand those types.

He's Ivan Drago from Rocky, and Jack is Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones.

Oh my God Thor! You're right! I thought something was weird about that picture. Is it too cruel to call him Sponge-Bob Squarepants?

This dude is going to have to stay off of social media when he gets out. I feel terrible for him, so many people are making fun of the way he looks. I was ready to dislike him based on his interview until I started reading all the nasty comments on Twitter and elsewhere about his appearance. Now I kind of want him to do well.

Sometimes I think BB picks the worst picture of the contestants they can find. Seeing this guy Jackson in a video he's not nearly as odd looking as he appears to be by this still shot.
Same goes with one of the other contestants, Jack, the long-haired guy. Seeing his picture on his profile instantly reminded me of the Geico Caveman, but after seeing his interview with Jeff, I'm starting to warm up to him. He seems like a pretty cool guy, so I'm hoping he's not a macho jerk.

Not feeling him at.all. And sorry, on seeing his pic, I immediately thought it was odd that his jaw is as wide as the rest of his head. If I end up liking him, I'll feel bad for saying that (even though it's true).
Moved from Tennessee to LA, & is a now a waiter...I smell wanna be actor & is looking for exposure from being on BB.
Not a fan at this point.

Ugh!!! I'm so pissed at the casting directors. I mean, I meet more interesting people in everyday life. I only watched the first episode of bb - and I usually love it - it was really unsettling for me to see all the non-white and non-young people targeted.
And you can't do any due diligence? Domestic violence? Ugh!!!

Current thoughts:
All that eating has had a good affect on Jackson. It's fattened up his face enough that his crazy square jaw is less noticeable and less cartoonish.
I'm not really sure why people are still bothered by his eating. True, he started out shoveling sugary sweet cereal by the fist full or scrambling up a half dozen eggs, but he's evolved to at least a healthier form of binging. Anymore, it's watermelon, watermelon, watermelon. Oh, and don't forget the cucumbers. He's into nuts, sunflower seeds and protein bars. So at least that's an improvement.
I don't want Jackson to win. Yes, he has improved. He's less of a bulldozer than he once was, and he did have some self-awareness and a sense of humor after being voted for the Field Trip. But I still have PTSD from the Jackson of earlier days.
It's obvious BB loves him. And so he'll probably make final two.

His non-stop eating only irritates me because he's called out other people about eating. The food is for everyone, not just him.
I'm unimpressed by his newfound self-awareness because it only came about by the DR talking to him, it didn't come naturally. He's still a dick, but he's toned it down after they said something. Eh.
I agree about him being a production favorite, but I'll never understand why they love him so.

All right, were you sneaking snacks in the shower when you were Have-Not on slop? Come clean with me. Were you sneaking snacks?
I really wasn’t. I wasn’t. I respect this game too much. At no point would I ever think that I deserved something over anybody else. I really, really wasn’t. I volunteered to be a Have-Not. I wanted to get that experience of Big Brother. I volunteered to go up on the block as a pawn. I threw a rogue vote. Everything that I did was to make sure that if I walked out of these doors, I gave it my all and I played Big Brother to the best of my ability. And that includes being punished. That includes eating slop for a week. And I like to eat. And at no point did I ever even consider going back on that. COMPLETE EW INTERVIEW HERE

His arrogance will do him in. He flubbed his answers to the questions about being perceived as a misogynist and bullying tactics, because he seems to believe that if he tells people how to feel about his actions, they will oblige. When he lies about actions that people were plainly able to see in living color, he's again showing that he believes if he tells people what to think, they will oblige. It's gotta be nice that he's gone through so much of life having that happen, but it's not a realistic expectation.
