I wonder where Weston got that smooth phrase from, saying he's a photographer and she is in focus and the world's a blur. Nice, but too smooth for that guy - he stole that from somewhere! LOL
Ray says in his final speech to Caro that he can't wait to hear her baby voice every day, and I'm dying. That's going to get old fast, Ray, just you wait! Caro reminds us she's only 21, and I'm not that shocked by this news.
Zac asks how to spell Elizabeth, when writing his speech. Someone online said, of course he doesn't know how to spell it, since he doesn't even know how to spell Zack! hahaha
Dylan and Alexandra are very sweet, and I love how she pointed out him accepting her just the way she is. That's so nice. They've started to become my favorite couple.
Even though they've dragged out this finale (How are you feeling? How do you feel now? What's going through your head? And repeat, etc.,etc.), it's been pretty nice. Now on to the winners, finally....
4th place is Weston and Emily, who feel like they've won just by finding each other. 3rd place is Ray and Caro 2nd place is Dylan and Alex, who said she didn't care about the money, even though Dylan said now he wanted to win! 1st place winners: Zac and Elizabeth, who are living their fairytale. The narrator said they were the walking/talking cake toppers!
Wait, what's with the gold envelope twist? One has $100,000 in it, one has nothing. They each choose one, and Elizabeth gets the $100K and she choose to share it. Aww...!
Was a cute finale last night. Good summary NavyBelle. I was not surprised when Caro said she was only 21. It makes sense now. I was good with Elizabeth & Zack winning or Dylan & Alex although I think D&A are moving fast towards being my favorite. I wonder how many of these relationships will survive outside the villa? I enjoyed this season. I'm worried that next season will not be as good...more drama, less relationships and more trying to survive to win the money. I guess we will see.
Finally got to watch the finale.... great summary Navybelle!
Zac & Elizabeth were our favorites from the beginning. By the end we were also rooting for Dylan and Alexandra. They are so sweet and real. Dylan is like a human golden retriever! :-)
Would you believe my husband watched this entire show with me??!?? Maybe he didn't mind watching all the chicks in bikinis, I don't know LOL. But we had fun mocking them all and loved the voice-over narrator. We have a little seated arm dance we did every time the show music came on, like after commercials.... overall this show is a lot of fun when you don't take it seriously. Heck, it doesn't even take itself seriously!
It seems like most of the participants are aspiring actors. Many live in LA. When Elizabeth's parents visited, her mom said, "we're so proud of you! A star is born!" HHhhmm.
The show got better and better towards the end as the cast was more comfortable with each other. Loved it when they all went nuts and shouted "I GOT A TEEEEeeeEEEEEEXT" the last week at the villa. Remember how demure they all were at the beginning? LOL.
Good fun, glad it was picked up again, we'll definitely watch next summer too....
Now I have 3 weeks of BB to catch up on after being on vacation!!!!!!!! Yikes!!!!!!
