Season 18 Episode 4
Well finally the Red Team won a challenge. I think it will be difficult for them as they only have Jim vs the two younger and stronger guys (Kyle and Micah).
Delores was eliminated this week. She commented she questioned the program because she only lost one pound. Unfortunately just because you eat right and exercise the weight will come off just not the way you would like it too. I have a hard time liking Delores or even feeling any sympathy as she always had this look of distaste, disdain, or something on her face.
Like Dom from the previous week Delores did not mention how much weight she had lost and I guess I understand as this show will only be 10 episodes long. However like Dom's before and after photos I don't see any difference.

I had no problem with her going home.

I had no problem with her going home. I too had no problem with her going home. I don't like this karma thing because it gets ridiculous, I will say I think she had an attitude and the Blue Team overall comes across cocky as they have two young athletic guys to help win challenges. If Delores was on the Red Team she would have been super sour apples from the beginning. While I like watching the challenges to me if I was on Biggest Loser, I would be there to absorb the nutrition and how to cook as that is so important in being successful in the losing the weight and then maintaining it. I would always try my best but my strategy would always to make sure I survive the weight in and be able to stay another week regardless of which team wins the challenges or the weight in.

Season 18 Episode 5
Step challenge I think is better suited to taller people. Kim is out quick. I do see a lot of heart and determination on the Red Team. I am really starting to dislike Meghan and her we won 4 out of 5 challenges. The Blue Team on average is younger than the Red Team. Meghan is tall, as is Micah. Having Kyle and Micah on any team is a distinct advantage. If this was an individual weigh in Kim would have been eliminated the last 3 episodes. I do like that the majority of the ladies are being consistent and losing 4 lbs per weight in which is amazing. I kinda miss the drama the strategy and voting brought to the show. Katrina seems kinda whinny to me and I was not impressed with her before and after photos as they look the same to me. However I had to rewind the DVR a couple of times and realized I missed some stuff. There is a great after photo of her in gym shorts and sports bra. I can see she lost weight. She even states she started the show at 293 and is now 233 and has lost 60 lbs. Doing the math she lost 36lbs at the ranch and 24lbs at home. She mentions that since she has been at home her boyfriend of 5 years broke up with her. I am so glad that she did not let that derail her as I think her boyfriend felt threatened that she did something about her weight and moved on with her life.
I have a feeling that with 7 players left they might be moving to individual weigh ins vs team weigh ins.

I have to admit that the numbers these people have been losing on this show is in the realm of what someone would lose with a manageable diet/exercise regime, which kinda shows how unhealthy the people on the old show were about dropping the pounds. I can watch people dropping 2-5 pounds a week and know they aren't starving themselves and working out 10 hours a day. that blond lady who went home last night looked great in her "where are they now" segment!

Season 18 Episode 6
Sad to see Teri hurt herself. Jim pissed me off as the minute he hit the mud he just gave up. He really gets upset because he is no longer a 23 yr athlete. Get over yourself. The majority of these folks are not athletic and it shows. Micah and Kyle are the most athletic and the Blue Team was very lucky that it had the younger fitter folks on it. Meghan's arrogance really got on my nerves and I am glad she went home. OTOH she seems less arrogant at home and has lost a total of 60 lbs and I can actually see it on the before and after shots and in her arms.
Glad to see Red Team retrench and really watch there food and that made a huge impact in the weigh in this week.
There will be individual weigh ins from now on but if Micah wins all the challenges and gets several pound advantage it seems as if he will have no problem winning this season. I don't know if it will come down to a final weight in.
I will be rooting for Teri and Kim.

Season 18 Episode 7 - March 10 2020
7 weeks in 6 people left, 3 men, 3 women, and all competing as individuals. I was very proud of Kim as she made it to the final stage in the individual challenge vs Kyle. I kinda wish Kim won just for the self confidence and self esteem she would have gotten from winning. The advantage was only one pound. I don't think Kim could have saved herself with that advantage as she lost 4 pounds this week and was the lowest person on the weight in board.
She revealed in her heart to heart with Bob that she was so unhappy with her marriage that she didn't want to be home with her husband and instead would stay away and go to restaurants and eat until she knew he was asleep.
During her "where are they now" interview Kim revealed that she and her husband separated. I think this was for the best as she looks so happy.
Kim has lost 35 pounds in 7 weeks.
Overall the others have lost in the range of 44 to 49 pounds. Jim is the exception at 85 pounds but he is a big guy.
There are only 3 more episodes left.
The eliminations will get harder as everyone is losing at a similar pace right now. Kyle - 7, Kristi - 6, Kim - 4, Jim - 10, Teri - 6, Micah - 8.
I was rooting for Kim but I always knew she was a long shot and am happy she had the opportunity she had to change her life.
Go Teri Go.
Oh, everyone is starting to look good and will be amazing when they get under 200.

Season 18 Episode 8 - March 17 2020 hiddenremote.com/2020/02/05/the-biggest-loser-s18e2-rating/I do not agree with the reviewer that Jim is the dominant "biggest loser", I feel that is Micah. Micah dominates challenges and is always at the top of the board regarding the percentage of weigh lost each week. Micah did not need the one pound advantage and the one pound advantage would not have helped Christina the numbers simply did not add up this time. Jim had %3.33, Micah had %2.97, Teri had %2.83, Kyle had %2.77, and Kristina had %2.27. The reviewer is a bit snotty regarding Kristina beating Jim in the exercise challenge. Bob Harper clearly stated that the weights were different for the women vs male competitors based on that men are stronger then females. The challenge consisted on a bike ride to one mile, rowing 500 yards (I think), pushing a sledge and throwing a sandbag a certain distance. The sledge and the sandbag were lighter for the women. Kristina did well. Jim has no stamina and he can only go so far before he can't breath. Kristina had a great before and after as I could actually see a difference in her body in her before and after photos. She probably has lost over 50 lbs at this point and that is when you really can see the differences. Two more episodes to go. The show has been renewed for a second season.

Season 18 Episode 9 - March 24 2020
The final three that will be in the final weight in are Jim, Micah, and Kyle. Teri only lost one pound and was eliminated. I was really rooting for Teri as I don't really care for any of the remaining contestants. This season seemed so one sided I do wish there had been a bit more drama. As much as many folks didn't like the original version of this show there are seasons where the scheming and back stabbing were very exciting to watch.
Teri looked absolutely fabulous in her before and after photos. It was filmed 3.5 weeks after she had been eliminated and she has lost an additional 11 lbs. That woman is a rock star with losing weight as that adds up to over 3 lbs a week. Teri has lost a total of 62 pounds and is under 200. You can really see the difference in the before and after photos.

At the start of the episode there was a comment made by Bob Harper that Micah would have been eliminated episode 8 if he had not gotten the 1 lb advantage. That is not accurate. Micah was safe as long as Christina did not get the 1 lb advantage, if Jim, Teri, or Kyle had received it Micah would have been safe.

Season 18 Episode 10 - Finale - March 31, 2020
Wow, I was disappointed. I wanted to see all of the contestants weigh in and the only did the top six. The Top Six consisted of the Top Three at home biggest losers and the Final Three contestants from last week.
Did not like the At Home winner as I didn't like her attitude during the show. I would have preferred her not to win. Either of the two remaining contestants would have been fine with me.
I was OK with the Final Three winner.
How long was the season in regards to how much time did the contestants have overall to lose weight?

I think they did it that way as to not embarrass the ones who either lost very little weight at home or gained because a few of those folks didn't look much different than they did when they left the show. Even Micah gained when he got back home until he got back on track. Honestly, I prefer it this way.

Finally sat down to really watch the finale. I must admit the first half was not that bad. I liked seeing each person come back into the lounge area and actually all have them talk. It is hard to see much weight loss on the early eliminations. I do think that Phi and Delores look as if they have gained weight. Their faces are fuller and they look the same which confuses as Bob stated their health improved. Meghan has some weird skin as she looks like she has a LOT of loose skin all over her face and when she was at certain angles her face was unrecognizable. I still wish they had let the audience know what everyone has lost not just the Top Six.
