Season 15 Episode 4 - "Atomic Monsters" - November 7, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Really enjoyed the boys going back to monster hunting, the vibe felt very good, a classic episode but with some real punch. I even enjoyed the Chuck and Becky subplot, even when it got a bit scary that Chuck didn't like Becky's critique I thought it would be OK, but then it turned creepy.

Season 15 Episode 5 - "Proverbs 17:3" - November 14, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)There are many translations for the title: If this is Chuck/God writing the script to this episode we need rewrite. I think the producers of this series have written themselves into a hole and it is painful watching them try to wiggle and squirm their way to a decent finale.

Season 15 Episode 6 - "Golden Time" - November 21, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Nice to see Eileen again and the boys working together. I it has been a long time since they have fought off witches. However it seemed lame that after Dean shot the one daughter he didn't immediately shoot the mom. The boys are professional hunters they have quicker reaction times. I have said it before the pacing seems off and kinda draggy on the episodes. They didn't even mention what kind of monster the sheriff was?

Season 15 Episode 7 - "Last Call" - December 5, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)I really liked the first half of the episode, it was really nice to see Dean relaxing and reconnecting with the world. The second half not so much. So much dialog about what is right and wrong and dealing with the hopelessness of evil in the world. Again it's almost at 20 episodes there was just too much time and not enough ideas and I am seeing filler and filler and that is a shame that such a great series goes out on a whimper and not a bang.

Season 15 Episode 8 - "Our Father, Who Aren't in Heaven" - December 12, 2019 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15) Good to see Donatello again. I liked seeing Rowena and as the Queen of Hell those were priceless scenes and so typical of Supernatural, somewhat unexpected but when you watch you realize this is exactly what happened. Liked how they handled the Michael slash Adam interface. Eating burgers and fries and pizza at a local dinner.Screams the boys best scenes through out the series. Liked the talks between Castiel and Michael. Well it looks like a trip through dimensions again. I do like that the writers are revisiting old places, old friends and foes instead of inventing new ones.

Season 15 Episode 9 - "The Trap" - January 16, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)The best scene was probably Dean praying to Cas asking for forgiveness for being a jerk. Nice to see a different range of emotion from Dean besides the normal angry man. However, I did get the feeling maybe Dean thought it was all a mental trap as he kept looking for Cas to appear and it came across a tad fake apology. Back to the feeling they are dragging this out. May have been better if the episodes had been cut to 24 minutes.

Season 15 Episode 10 - "The Heroes' Journey" - January 23, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Luv these types of episodes, they are a breath of fresh air, it's stepping outside of the season story arc and just having fun with the characters. Dean tap dancing. The boys being normal too funny for words. Sam getting sick and getting a cayenne pepper cure all. Garth a dentist to werewolves and Dean having a toothache and 17 cavities. Dean getting lactose intolerant. Dean and Sam can't lockpick themselves out of a cage. Dean and Sam can't fight anymore. Dean really feeling pain after a fight. Good to see Garth again and to see he is still happily married and has three kids. The look on Dean's face when he found out that Garth named his twins after Sam and Castiel is too funny.

Season 15 Episode 11 - "The Gamblers" - January 30, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Kinda continuing from the previous episode with the boys wanting their luck back. Nice to hear from another higher beings perspective. Chuck makes enemies just because his characters don't play as he intended. Still feeling a tad of zing the episodes used to have. Nice to see Jack back. Is it me but Jack looks so much like Castiel's son. Wish they had played "North to Alaska" a bit more.

Season 15 Episode 12 - "Galaxy Brain" - March 16, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Always nice to see Billy, as an actress she is so intense it just add gravitas to her role as Death. Not sure what the point what of seeing Dark Kaia as that entire story-line was used as a pilot for a potential spin off. Maybe just to see Jody one more time.

Season 15 Episode 14 - "Last Holiday" - October 8, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)The writers of Supernatural have always been able to balance life's little moments with the big epic monsters and disasters of the series. Luv'ed having Mrs. Butters as part of the team and how important it is to take care of the small day to day chores, as well as to celebrate the holidays and birthdays. This episode also shows what nasty brutes the Men of Letters could be by basically brainwashing Mrs. Butters to protect them instead of looking for her family. Dean and Sam as descendants and heirs to the Men of Letters probably would not be accepted into their ranks but Dean and Sam at least can see beyond the prejudices both the American and British Men of Letters had to supernatural creatures. I liked Mrs. Butters and it was a great lesson in that ladies of a certain age are both terrifying and wonderful.

Season 15 Episode 15 - "Gimme Shelter" - October 15, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Well it begins with mean girls in a soup kitchen. Interesting notes on acceptance or non-acceptance in religion. Dean asking Amara why she brought back Mary was interesting. The cross roads demon working for the police....interesting.

Season 15 Episode 16 - "Drag Me Away (From You)" - October 22, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15) The last of "lets take a break from the main storyline and explore other avenues, flashbacks, or funky things" episodes before the start of the epic last battle. Nice to see a story from Dean and Sam's past as kids.

Season 15 Episode 17 - "Unity" - October 29, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)The episodes are feeling climatic and you get the urge to tell them to hurry and be over, even the performances seem tired and just being done to get it over with, and there are the same old arguments again. Wow, Billie is playing them all!

Season 15 Episode 19 - "Inherit the Earth" - November 12, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)mmmm...that was it? I wonder if I would have felt the story was more epic if I had watched it back in the early part of the year and the broadcasting had not been interrupted because of the COVID lockdown. On the other hand this is a typical Supernatural move, doing away with the bad guy not so epic but more of a quick ending.

Season 15 Episode 21 - "Carry On" - November 19, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(season_15)Not what I expected but very what Supernatural does. Obviously the actors agreed as there was real acting in this episode and not a phoned in performance. Luv the dog. Luv'ed all the versions of "Wayward Son". Overall a decent ending to the season and series.
