Someone remind me: who did Derek couple up with last time he was on Paradise? I just saw "Derek for Bachelor" online, and can't remember his past. I think her name was Taylor. She was a psych student or something with dark hair. Attachments:

What I don't understand is why they think having that girl stay when she's not a part of their "cast" is okay? I mean, I know they'd want the girl-on-girl drama, but if it were Demi's boyfriend from home who showed up, if she picked him they'd go off together and no longer be on the show. That part is so stupid to me. Poor Derek. |

But that's not what struck me the most - what did, is how many Blake haters are out there (who don't even know him personally!) Speculation is that TPTB are gauging interest in Derek as a possible Bachelor choice...kind, caring, compassionate, nice-looking. It remains to be seen whether they think there is enough 'turnaround' from heartbroken to hopeful. But they did it with Nick Viall and also Colton so I don't see why not. I've always liked Derek...he reminds me so much of John Krasinski.

I am not sure who I would prefer out of Derek, Peter, Mike or Jordan. Peter reminds me so much of Ben Higgins so maybe a season with him would feel redundant. Mike is probably too much of a softie to break a bunch of hearts... I think Derek would actually be a great choice. Or Jordan, with all of his hilarious commentary.

Wow, what a trainwreck this show is!
Blake comes off as a complete psychopath narcissist. The way he speaks so quickly, all about himself. Why do these girls get involved with him or think he's all that? There's just something very phony about him
Kristina - I used to really like her. What has gone wrong? She's been just horrible. WHY did she give Blake her rose? I call BS on her wanting Blake to have to watch Hannah and Dylan. She must have some hope of Blake coming around to her. The conversation with Caitlin - she was so vicious.
Nicole - obviously loved having all the attention and drama... and having guys fight over her. With Jordan and Christopher (was that his name?) eliminated after the fight: how convenient! The path is cleared for Nocole and Clay to be a success story of the show!
Demi and Kristian - I don't know why but I'm just not buying it. When they reunited, Kristian seemed kind of motherly towards Demi IMO. And yes, total BS. Why did Demi come to paradise? Why is SDemi staying and why is Kristian staying? They should've just left together.
Hannah - looks like a child, face looks like something from Todlers & Tiaras. Agree 100% with above poster who said this. They dragged the Blake/Dylan drama out way too long and she is now completely unlikeable.
Okay that's all I've got for now! :-)

That whole dragging on thing is really just production and editing, though.
In real time, the Hannah/Dylan/Blake drama lasted five or six days max (and really less, since Blake didn't start moving in on Hannah till at least day two or three).
The "weeks" in Paradise aren't real weeks. They only film for three weeks with two rose ceremonies per week.

I flat out didn't like Kristian, mother vibe? Yes I got that vibe. She seemed stuck up. I don't know why she got to arrive, then stay, it's bullcr@p! I don't like to hear she got hate mail, but she isn't the first, sadly she wont be the last.
As for her yapping about Blake, he put himself out there, and who he had sex with, and the texts, so do I feel sorry for Blake, not at all.
I'll snark on him as many times as I like, he's no different than the others we have snarked on, move on Kristian, you may or may not know this, but this show is totally using you and Demi. .

I agree with everyone that Demi’s story was far too manipulated. And idk why they let her partner stay, either. They zapped the life out of any reality in that entire scenario!

Well, there are a lot of nutcases out there..I really don't know what she would get hate mail, it's her damned rose..I suspect TPTB offered up the suggestion she keep flathead..and of course THEY don't get any threats.. As for Demi and her partner, I have no problem with them being the same sex( thanks for correcting me, cuddles) , but WTH are they messing with this show, this badly? it isn't hard to ruin the BIP, but this season, I think they managed They should stop with the couples, that have relationships before they come on this show |

They zapped the life out of any reality in that entire scenario!I usually never watch this show, but decided to record something good while watching this trash because I didn't feel well and figured I'd fall asleep with the TV on, and so I did. Every time I woke up, Demi and Kristian were in a lip lock. Chris H and the producers can come up with every bland explanation in the book for bringing Kristian there and having her stay, but the truth is the elephant in the room ... it's the titillation factor of watching two women make out for the rest of the season. Kristian seems like a serious, upstanding woman who, as a newbie to Bachelor Nation, had no idea she was being used and for what. |

Kristian does seem pretty cool. While she's officially new to the Bachelor world, she's hardly unexposed. Demi met her because Kristian's roommates with a woman named Catherine (who I don't remember) who was on Colton's season with Demi, so I'm guessing Kristian has hung out with a Bachelor Nation person or two.
