(I haven't updated this in ages and who knows if the links work, but I had to rescue it from the rubble...)For reasons unknown to myself, I started a project this week: mapping all the locations seen on Project Runway. This includes the main sites seen every week (like Parsons and Mood), as well as locales seen in individual episodes (Parsons Paris, the clubs/bars used for parties, etc.). The Project Runway Tour (link) Each marked site contains a brief description of the location's relation to the show, including episode number/name where appropriate. Status:
- Most of the locations for S1-S9 are mapped.
Locations that I haven't yet pinpointed are listed below. Feel free to post with any additions, corrections, or missing information! Or the name of a good therapist to listen to me try to figure out why I did this... Missing Locations:
- S01E03 (Banana Republic Challenge) - The bar the designers went to after finishing for the night
- S02E06 (Window Shopping) - The art supply store where they shopped for the Banana Republic window displays
- S02E08 (Inspiration) - The building Chloe photographed for her Inspiration dress
- S04E09 (Even Designers Get the Blues) - The warehouse in Brooklyn filled with Levi's denim
- S08E10 (There's a Pattern Here) - The bar/lounge where Christopher and his partner hang out
Just keep telling yourself this is interesting and fun; it's what I do...

I've always wondered: Why did Parsons disassociate themselves from the show? Was it because Tim was no longer on the faculty, or was it because they didn't want to be associated with Lifetime's cheapness?

It wasn't by choice -- the building was demolished and they moved downtown to become part of The New School on 17th St.

Oh, okay! I knew about the New School (a professor from my Grad school teaches there now) but not about the building being demolished.

That's okay -- I do too, but I almost never go down to Times Square these days, so I only knew because I read it online,

I would love to go to Mood. All those lovely bolts of fabric...heaven. And of course, getting to pet Swatch! Is Mood open to the public?

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate place to ask, but does anyone know where I can watch some of the older seasons online? I would really like to see Santino's and Christian's seasons again.

I haven't looked, but try you tube. It is always my go to, especially for seasons no longer on demand or on the website.
