Let's start with some speculation backed up by some sleuthing... There's a chance this new season will be All Stars. People are spotting chefs being filmed in California now, and putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Top Chef season 17: all stars are filming now - realityblurred.comLooks like the potential cast list includes chefs from more recent seasons, with maybe one or two old-time veterans too. We know that the Restaurant Wars episode will be taped on Oct. 10th, because the James Beard foundation auctioned off 2 tickets to the taping. Post here if you find out anything more, especially FORTers in southern CA!

Karen Akunowicz (13/California) Boston, Massachusetts Jennifer Carroll (6/Las Vegas, 8/All Stars, Last Chance Kitchen) Philadelphia, PA and Washington, D.C. Stephanie Cmar (11/New Orleans) Boston, Massachusetts Lisa Fernandes (4/Chicago) Brooklyn, New York Kevin Gillespie (6/Las Vegas) Atlanta, Georgia Gregory Gourdet (12/Boston) Portland, Oregon Jamie Lynch (14/Charleston) Charlotte, North Carolina Melissa King (12/Boston) San Francisco, California Brian Malarkey (3/Miami) San Diego, California Nini Nguyen (16/Kentucky) New York, New York Joe Sasto (15/Colorado) Los Angeles, California Angelo Sosa (7/Washington D.C., 8/All Stars) San Diego, California Bryan Voltaggio (6/Las Vegas) Frederick, Maryland Lee Anne Wong (1/San Francisco and Last Chance Kitchen) Maui, Hawaii The Top Chef Season 17 All Stars L.A. Cast List Is Bringing the Heat - BravoTV.comWell, none of my 3 "must have" names are there: Nyesha and Grayson from 9/Texas, and Nina Compton from 11/New Orleans. I still get annoyed thinking about how Nick won that season. But at least Stephanie is getting her second chance, since she was eliminated when Nick tanked their team with immunity.

So glad Eric is back! I looked up his restaurant hoping to eat there but he and his wife have since closed the restaurant and gone into private practice. They design and create extremely lucrative dinner parties and events for people in the DC area. They do host dinner parties that they host when trying out new dishes but apparently they are really popular and fill up fast. www.chefadjepong.com/

IIRC, Lee Anne joined FoRT way back when and gave us some inside/behind-the-scenes info....and then had to ask us to delete her posts to keep her from getting in trouble with the big bosses!
